Makes sense. They have no shot at post-season so we probably wink-wink nod-nod told them we'd play them another year when playing us could help them (and doesn't actually hurt our RPI)
ICU would be the 2nd lowest RPI contribution game we play per Boyd's (0.260). And even beating them, they would lower our RPI.
The worst RPI team we've played is not surprisingly PVAM with an unbelievably low .221. For comparison's sake Yale is .322 and #23 RPI UGA was .416. So PVAM is a bigger gap down from Yale than a borderline top 25 RPI team is a step up.
So as I was looking at that I happened to glance at PV's remaining schedule. They have a THREE game set at Okie State upcoming. Woof.

10 home wins, 4 road wins
11 home wins, 3 road wins
Because of that series, a team with a current RPI of 27 needs to win 14 of 15 just to stay in the top 32

think they only play 7s on getaway days. So should be two 9s tomorrow. First one on ESPN2 and the 2nd on SECN+ only
