I wish we could have a new day, larger version of Aggie Alley but I just don't see it happening and there isn't a good spot for it. That's the only thing missing from our baseball atmosphere IMO. If you combined that with the student section we would be hard to beat as far as atmosphere.

All games are on SEC+. We will win the series after winning the first 2. The 3rd game won't have as much excitement.

Nah frick that. I go full Aggy in every sport: we're gonna nuke everybody, and if we don't, well there's nobody in my office who's gonna talk shite

So I was looking at our schedule and how we've fared vs each team in SEC play the past 3 seasons. Not surprisingly our best record (5-1) is vs both UT & MU. After that its UF (3-1), UGA (4-2), & UK (3-2). Our those 4 UF stands out, but it was only 1 series and 1 SECT game. Unfortunately for us UT, MU, and UK are not on the schedule this year. I might have to temper my expectations ever so slightly.

Another poll, another high ranking. BA has us at #3.

Not sure if already discussed, but rumors swirling someone is getting kicked off the team. Gabe acknowledged it and said he's waiting on the official release.

I just saw the cryptic posts this morning. Looks like Tyler Stub. If so then this is a big blow. Stubblefield was(?) going to be our Friday or Saturday night starter. We did just fine without him the majority of 2015, but this likely moves starting pitching from a strength to a question mark. We still have the bats and the pen to do some serious damage.

I fricking hope not. We can't catch a break pitching. That was what I was most excited about. But now that you mention it, I think you are right. If I remember correctly, Gabe mentioned the bullpen would still be great. Didn't think about that meaning the starting slot would not.

It's Tyler Stubblefield, he has always had problems with authority. Childress is a no nonsense guy and Stubbs crosses the line too many times.

Yeah, it's a tough blow. I respect the way Childress runs the program though. I wonder if we decide to move someone like Hendrix or Larkins up and out of the pen. I think we will be fine as long as we don't get gutted by injuries to the staff like last year

Being a fan of any Aggy team is such an arse beating. We really do love misery, don't we.
