Couple notes
WN has switched to BA as their ranking of record (they were using garbage CBN til now)
Vinson threw 44 pitches
Ecker 30
I gotta think Vinson is done for the weekend and Ecker may be back for Sat. Need strong outings again from Hill/Simonds

Glad we used up Ecker and Vinson for this one. Sheffield just refused to throw balls all day, and our bats kept finding gloves.

Any upset helps us vs other SEC contenders (conference crown) and national seed contenders (thought process is only so many from the SEC will get national seeds).
Now that the weekend is upon us, time to revisit.
I agree with you Farmer but I don't think we're going to win the SEC regular season. Our schedule is just way too tough as we missed the bottom feeders in the East this year.
For me, the series I'm watching is UGA/OM. I'd really like to see UGA take that like they did vs USC. OM is that team no one is talking about that could be a problem down the line

btw was looking at UGA's schedule because I noticed they were 7-14 in SEC play. It's beyond brutal and their SOS is #1 overall. SEC series

@ A&M (0-3)
vs SC (2-1)
@ UF (1-2)

Already played all 4 teams that D1B has as SEC national seeds along with Vandy (host). 4 of those 5 have been away too.
They still have OM, Mizzou and UT to go so they still have a chance to finish decently and make post-season. RPI isn't a problem, but they need wins.

This is gonna be our problem in the postseason, great pitching always beats great hitting and we don't have the starting pitching to win pitching duals.
