According to Taylor Hamm, Elliott plans to make an official visit to Texas. He also had this to say when Hamm asked him about Texas' opening loss.
“Every team has their ups and downs,” he said of the Horns. “They just haven’t been playing good football. Every team goes through that. It really doesn’t change my perspective right now on anything.”

Yes, they lost in horrible fashion. Yes, we know it's confirmation that Charlie is totally out of his depth,
BUT... this is a kid who is also apparently a fan.
So from his perspective, it's one loss. Just one loss. But wait until the losses pile up and the fans completely turn and the dirty laundry starts getting aired - which is all GOING to happen. That'll make it look completely different to him.

Elliott flipping from UH to Texas was one of strong's recruiting trump cards... and he's already having to play it in week 1 to keep his head above water.
