I know that's the go to response, but do you seriously believe that substantial illegal cash is changing hands, or is this just a funny/joke sort of an answer?

Ole Miss is brazenly cheating their asses off.

LSU is right next door and has recent natties to show. Bama is Bama. OU is OU. I totally get Texas kids leaving for those three. But Ole Miss doesn't have a winning tradition now or ever, plays in a stadium smaller than Tceh's, and is in Mississippi, which is a depressing place to even step foot.

because of all the reasons you stated is exactly why it makes no sense to me, and therefore I'm inclined to believe that they are paying out big time as well.

Kinda, either Freeze is the absolute best salesman on the planet or something else is going on over yonder.

Meat Market, by Bruce Feldman, presented Freeze as a talented and very hard working recruiter. But to convince me that he is attracting the talent from out of state that he is getting right now, and even, and particularly, in his very first class - given the relative unattractiveness of Ole Miss as a program historically, recently, or of Mississippi as a place for human habitation - he would have to be Jesus. They're either paying players, or Hugh Freeze is a cult leader masquerading as a football coach with the ability to use some kind of special insight into human psychology or gnostic knowlege of hypnotism or other lost mind control methods of the Atlantieds or dwellers of Ultima Thule.

He's either a cross between Charles Manson, Joseph Smith, Mack Brown and Pete Carroll, with some kind of special mind-hack granted to him by a translation he made of an ancient scroll he discovered in a cave, or giving money to players.

I feel like it's a combination of both- Freeze is an excellent recruiter and I am sure they are paying people. I'm sure we do too, who cares

You should. Especially if they are paying more than aggy and taking kids out of Texas.

It has been. That's good news. Also, looks like we have a pretty good shot at landing Tate Martell & his 5* Wr for the 2017 class. Obviously it's early but we're in a good position

Are Ed Oliver and Jordan Elliott dead set on Houston? Kills me to think talent like that would go to Houston.

I think both are going to take all their OVs. But I honestly doubt either will end up at A&M

If he's saying this it's probably true based on what I know but 247's track record of late has been laughingly bad

Yeah I canceled my sub with them. I've never liked Hamm so when they started having zero useful info it was an easy choice

Anyone have any thoughts on odds of getting Greg Little back? I expect 0%, but I think having Kyler boosts those odds.

Still haven't given up on Hudson yet either
