Not too upset by all this, but I hope they do push a little more in the future for commitments, even if they are a 5 stars. Even considering the decommits, it still helps a little bit beyond a worthless "silent" commit.

To be fair, the staff was surprised and disappointed by Sheffield's announcement at the UA game. But, for a guy who had supposedly known he was going to Bama since before the season started, I don't know how the staff could've been "surprised" or "caught off-guard" by it. There was definitely a disconnect there.

Texas produced 3 nationally top 100 players at the CB position this year, and we whiffed on all 3. Doesn't reflect well on Terry Joseph.
That said, if we can get a stud CB over the next week, then all will be forgiven.

Hill/Boyd really failed at the troll job.... nobody was surprised by that. Longhorns getting a couple of nice players though, can't deny that.
