It's like a bunch of guys sitting around someone's deathbed in here. ....waiting for the inevitable.

Too damn much gloom and doom.

Hope Sumlin can charm his pants off. Aggies need Kris bad.

I say (at least the BAS part of me says) there is not enough, if we are prepared for the absolute worse thing that can happen. It will be less painful

I agree with Bob. We opened the door by getting blown out 59-0

That loss really did hurt the perception of our program as as whole. It's one thing to lose to Alabama, another to lose bad to them, but 59-0 .....and it could have been much much worse....was downright embarrassing. Just a big time black eye. Beating Auburn helped restore things for a minute but the last 2 losses should have been wins, and repaired the damage more so by going 9-3 instead of 7-5. Now we're dealing with this crap.

I really want to be, that fat frick ketch is so damn over-the-top optimistic right now and the Murray's are so damn silent for an Aggie legacy that knows how important he is to us

Exactly!

I truly trust Sumlin on this. But I don't want to have a bunch of high school kids bring me down.

Kyler mack and lodge were paid to visit to give the appearance of momentum. They will cash in on some of their fringe targets with it, but not get any of ours.

There was no excuse for losing to LSU this year. None. And the best team Mizzu beat all year was Arkansas during their late season run.

Much as I hate making cheating allegations (because everyone does it) this actually makes a lot of sense given the sheer randomness of all this "momentum". Kyler Murray has literally no football reason to even give tu a second thought when OU, Oregon and A&M all want him.

How does this make any more sense? Why would a kid that doesn't need any money do something like this for peanuts? If he's willing to do this for peanuts, we should assume he's heading straight for MLB for the bucks.

I don't know what or why, all I know is he went on a visit, official or unofficial and it never should've happened. I keep telling myself it was just a courtesy call or something of the sort but I can't help but think there is something more behind it, legit or underhanded, all I know is if he picks them more power to him and I hope he is really really fast and can pack some muscle on his frame or he's gonna get hurt due to complete lack of protection. Although the defenses in the bevo12 are pansies compared to the SEC he's still going to get hit a frick ton. I am not going to live or die by his decision but I will say if he flips this late in the game it's a pretty shitty thing to do, but hey he's an 18 year old kid and most if not all of us did some stupid shite in our youth. So frick it we get who we get and we win with them period. Winning fixes all of this bullshite.

Johnny manziel had money and signed autographs which threatened his whole career...

Ppl who have money, have it bc they don't rest on their laurels. People who have money are always on the look out to get money..

Tu pays for the momentum boost, a&m pays more than we would have initially to ensure we keep him and the parties attached to him.

Also, kyler Murray isn't getting offered "peanuts" by anyone. An SEC school other than A&M offered RSJ 700k, and that was after he hurt his knee.

Kyler Murray is 100x the name RSJ was.

I'm guessing he wasn't offered 700k to take a visit. I was replying more to the theory that this was for appearances only.

Lol who knows what he was offered. It's been the biggest recruiting story in the country.

I'm sure they're offering him a gigantic stack of money to sign. Crazy thing is they have us over a barrel. How much $ is signing kyler Murray worth to our program? Quite a bit. How much $ is he worth knowing tu is the alternative? I'd say double it. Even if he never played a down.

It sucks, but we just made a 100 yr decision and were building a college football cathedral. Can't get punked over something like this.

No way we're paying Kyler $70,000,000
