He's got real speed, he's tough, he's got great size for the position, and he's got "want to" (my German grandmother's favorite character trait in a human being). I expect him to play very well. I think it's a brilliant move. + he's really good at dookies.

I am excited because the tone coming out of camp seems to be quiet confidence concerning the defense. They are not saying much which means they think we are going to surprise some people in my estimation. Also the recruits we see talking about the team seem to indicate a night and day difference from the past couple of years. That is my reasoning anyway. Also the kool aid on tap in the kegerator helps

Excited for the season. I'm expecting big improvements for the defense, especially along the DL which has a chance to be great (though it sounds like our secondary could be a very pleasant surprise too. Even average would be orders of magnitude better than last year).

sure! It's going to be a fun year! And I'll try to post some impressions later this afternoon but I just couldn't figure out why suddenly there was 2 pages of excitement based on some random coach speak that didn't even say anything new.

I"m most encouraged by recruits' comments. They have no incentive in mentioning an improved defense.
