Nah, Melton starting at 3B, not Gideon so at least anything hit to 3rd isn't an auto-base runner

In 3rd, Minter threw a bunt away. They awarded a hit and an error on it as he ended up on 2nd

In the 4th, Minter picked off a runner but then Hinsley chucked it into LF. That runner ended up scoring

Hinsley is in the game because Nottebrok is awful at 1b. He looks smooth and everyone makes errant throws like that now and again and I'll cut him some slack. But he needs to hit more or we need to find someone else.

I'm happy to be the target of his mockery.

Time to 1-2-3 these Huskers and call it a ballgame.

In order to keep the streak going, I hope you wake up to a flat tire on your vehicle tomorrow.

I hope you understand its nothing personal. My ill will is necessary for the greater good of Aggie Baseball.

I made it just fine, thank you very much. Though I did leave after the seventh inning stretch, as my dad was ready to head home.

First time to see this team in person, looked good in all phases.

Only gripe (and you know I have to have one) is that we got there for the end of LSU/Baylor and I'm ashamed to say that LSU had a bigger crowd in a Houston venue than we did. I'm sure it would have been insane if we'd been playing each other.

They have much more recent success than A&M, so that isn't a big surprise. A few CWS appearances for A&M and all will be right with the world.

Sunday vs the Baptists

Baylor 0 1 1
Texas Aggies 1 0 0
End of 1st

Aggies made Austin Stone work hard in the 1st as he threw a lot of pitches (29). Walked a pair and then we scored on an E4.

Matt Kent is such a great Sunday starter. He works fast and eats innings. He's only thrown 12 pitches thru 2. At this rate he could pitch into the 15th

Agreed. He's a machine right now.
Looks like we're hitting the ball hard ... at some point that's bound to payoff.
