They like him better than Paris. Paris is a freak and as a sophomore was all-world for his age. He's an SEC safety right now. But he really didn't develop much as a junior so there are some that think he has already peaked and a lot of his hype is about how good he was at his age. It's all about projecting really and our coaches project DSG to be better than Paris (or any other safety in Texas).
as to the other, you need to read between the lines more because I'd rather not spell it out. But yes, I do have decent sources

Derrick Griffin will not be signing a letter of intent. Unfortunately, he will have to go the JUCO route before he can make it to campus.

Griffin's twitter is confusing to read.
First he stated he was going JUCO, then he said he would not be going JUCO
Either way, he seems to be very excited about A&M and working to get in.
He also just said he will be on the news tonight at 5:00 wonder what that is about.

Technically, if Derrick Griffin graduates and qualifies for admission, he can still sign an LOI anytime between now and the summer.

GigEmNation: What made you commit to Texas A&M?
Joas Aguilar: I always liked A&M growing up. I was a fan of theirs. When I visited, I got a good feeling about the program. And they were my first offer. That was big.
GEN: What has life been like since your commitment?
Aguilar: It's been all right. I've just been focusing on working out and getting ready to head down there.
GEN: I know you had a lot of schools pursuing you almost up until signing day. How hard was it to deal with?
Aguilar: It was really chaotic. Several schools weren't leaving my phone alone and stuff. I honestly felt better about A&M and liked it a lot more.
GEN: Describe your first meeting with Aggies coach Kevin Sumlin. What was your first impression?
Aguilar: He seemed like a really good person. He wasn't like other coaches. He was more relaxed. He was more chill, definitely.
GEN: What's your goal when you get to Texas A&M?
Aguilar: I just want to be a good athlete and a good student. I just want to come in and do my best.
GEN: When did you first get into football and why?
Aguilar: My dad loved football. He played it. So when I was about 5 years old, that's when I started playing. And I always played [up in age group]. When I was 5, I was playing with 7- and 8-year-olds.
GEN: Do you have any superstitions or routines that you have before games?
Aguilar: 5-Hour Energy [drinks]. Most players, we all, like, coast and then drink it before a game.
GEN: Who has been the biggest influence on your success?
Aguilar: Probably my dad. Ever since I was little he always coached me and pushed me to do better than what I was.
GEN: How has track season been going?
Aguilar: Good. I'm going to the state meet this weekend in the discus. I always liked doing track. This is my third time going to state. It keeps me busy during the offseason and keeps me motivated to keep working out.
GEN: Do you have a favorite memory associated with Texas A&M yet?
Aguilar: Probably the inaugural SEC game against Florida. I was there. The crowd was great. It was my first college game ever, so it was a really good experience.
GEN: How do you see things playing out in the coming years for Texas A&M?
Aguilar: I honestly think we're probably going to win a national championship. A&M is looking pretty good right now.
GEN: What's your favorite thing to do outside of football?
Aguilar: Just relax, I guess.
GEN: If you weren't a football player, what sport would you play?
Aguilar: Baseball. I played when I was younger but I stopped when I got to high school. I'd be a pitcher.
GEN: How have your accomplishments changed your life?
Aguilar: It has changed my life greatly. I get to go to college now because of it and that's really important.
GEN: Biggest highlight in your playing career?
Aguilar: Probably playing against Aledo when Johnathan Gray was there. It was on ESPN.
Favorite food: Italian.
Favorite car: Hummer.
Favorite NFL player: Michael Vick.
Desired jersey number: 75.

UH OH... we might have another Ta Ta Thompson on our hands in Ishmael Wilson. 
I hope he can avoid the temptation of the lucrative slam poetry circuit. Fingers crossed.

GEN: Do you have a favorite memory associated with Texas A&M yet? Wilson: I remember when we played Alabama. I had a classmate who's from Alabama and is a big Alabama fan. He was so excited. I told him, "We're going to beat y'all." He said, "We're at home, y'all aren't going to do nothing." To see what A&M did, in their home, it was ridiculous. When I got back to school, he didn't even come to school the next day.Another highlight for me was when Coach Sumlin was actually in my house, sitting in my living room [during an in-home visit]. When he pulled up and walked across the street to get to my house, people stopped to see if it was really him. That's when I knew, "Yeah, it's getting real."
GEN: Who has been the biggest influence on your success?
Wilson: My granddad and my parents. They used to always say how I was going to be so much. My granddad used to say, "Look how big you're getting, look what you're doing." It got to a point where [I missed certain things] because I had summer workouts. He would say, "I know, I understand." And sometimes he would get on my tail, when I'd come and visit him and say, "Aren't you supposed to be working out? This is not break time." He passed, so he's not going to see me do a lot of things, but he'll be with me in spirit. Stuff like that gets me out of bed at 5 in the morning to do two-a-days knowing that I have his spirit in me.
GEN: What's your favorite thing to do outside of football?
Wilson: You won't believe it, but I'm a lyricist. I like poetry. I do. I write poetry. While I was down in Houston for the Offense-Defense Bowl, me and Rashard [Robinson], who's going to LSU, we were rapping one time, with a camera, displaying our talents, because we had nothing to do. I do that a lot. In my spare time, I'm trying to learn how to make beats and produce songs, so I can become a musician, not just a lyricist. My brother is teaching me how to read music. It's just another talent I work on. I love music.

It's been announced that he in fact is going JUCO. Coaches made the right call on that one. OU signed one of their weaker classes only getting 7 total 4* per Rivals and Huggins was one of them. The natives are getting restless up there

The Twins scouted Stewart hard all year, so this pick shouldn't come as a surprise. Stewart will certainly sign for higher than the league's recommended bonus -- with the threat to play college football as a negotiating tool -- but I would expect Minnesota to get him into their system. He immediately becomes the Twins' best pitching prospect, and with two plus-plus pitches he could be helping a Minnesota rotation that needs all the help it can get in a couple of years.
