They put 8 in the box and we run the most predictable offense OAT.

Our line individually is talented enough imo, but it comes down to numbers at the end of the day and 8>5.

I'm going to LMAO when Rasputin Lyle pulls this win out of his arse this week, then sit on his pulpit and ask the media and fans how dare they question these kids and this program, and remind everyone that they are 4-1 with the only loss being a last second road loss to a top 25 team.

Everyone will start feeling good about the direction of the program and enjoy the BYE week. Some may even look ahead and get visions of Atlanta the first week of December.

Then just when you think the VOLS may have turned the corner, Muschamp comes in and cucks Lyle again for the 6th straight year.

oly shite. How does that even happen? Is your OL that bad?

I would attribute it to our offense being so one deminsonal that they knew we were running it and loaded the box

Can anyone explain how UK can beat USCe regularly but UT and UGA struggle with them.

We always pummel UK w/ ease while UGA and USCe seem to have their struggles with them, no real explanation

I find myself having these grand thoughts of an absolute mudhole stomping this weekend but I know that just can't be the case. Last time I felt THIS good about a UT game was 2004 and we know what happened. Granted circumstances are a bit different but still. I saw waht happened in 2013 when we looked completley in control and cruised to a 14 point halftime lead but the crowd helped get yall back and went to OT. I remember 2015 being even MORE in control and up by 21 with a few minutes before halftime then choking that one away as well.

I know your fans hate butch and the common theme seems to be "score early, knock the wind out of their sails and they'll fold quickly" but my last 2 trips there I've seen that's not the case.

The atmosphere is going to be wild but I trust our defense. I'm not concerned about the 1st half, whatever may happen there. I'm concerned about the 3rd quarter, I think that's when everyone is going to know whether UT has mailed it in or if the crowd can rally like they have the last 2 times up there.

I would expect a much much different crowd than the 2013 one if VOLS get in a big hole early. That was Butch's first year, before we all hated him and imo he actually did a good job of coaching up those slawVOLS that day.

It's going to be very toxic tomorrow if Tennessee gets in a two score deficit in the first half imo

If we get down early the boos will rain down on Butch. Hell, it happened in 2015.

you say that but hell we were up 21 and looked to be a rout but the crowd kept yall in it in the 2nd half. I just rewatched the 7 minute recap/highlights of '15 and I will say our defense in that game was surprisingly bad, although I'm sure dobbs had a lot to do with that as he played outstanding.

For those around campus what has the feel aroudn town been like? Are the students fired up about everythign or do they care?

Yes, Dobbs brought us back which put the crowd back into it. But we were NOT happy in the first half . The fan base is different in 2017. Butch had his doubters, but no one was calling for his head in 2015. From what I can tell, students want him gone too. I will be at the game and I am interested to read everyone's pulse.

Unfortunately, Dobbs isn't trotting out of the tunnel. I knew several Tennessee fans that thought Dobbs held us back the last few years because of his throwing ability, lol.

Guilty as charged

I thought if Dormandy could at least be a serviceable pocket passer the offense might actually improve a bit with our other athletes and assuming the OL would improve

Of course Dormandy hasn't even been serviceable but how wrong I was....

People thought he'd be a better passer because he was white

Just disgusting from our fanbase

Dormady is a better passer than Dobbs. I will stand by this.

His receivers are shite tier though and this offensive system is pure garbage.

ETA: Not saying Dormady is better than Dobbs by any means but all things equal Dormady is the better passer. Dobbs is clearly the better player overall, especially in the system.
