UGA-UT this weekend

Anyone want to talk about the upcoming game? I haven't watched much Volunteer football since the GT game.
Despite how good one team has been or how bad the other team has been this game is generally a close, hard fought battle which I expect it to be again.
1. Can UT stop UGA's run game and make Fromm/Eason beat you through the air?
2. Can UGA stop Kelly and make Dormady beat them?
Some stats to look at.
Passing yards per game:
UGA 166 (14th) UT 224 (4th)
Passing TDs:
UGA 7 (5th) UT 7 (5th)
Rushing yards per game:
UGA 223 (4th) UT 156 (9th)
Rushing TDs:
UGA 9 (5th) UT 8 (6th)
Points per game:
UGA 31 (6th) UT 30.25 (8th)
I had to use NCAA rankings for the defensive stats.
Defensive points per game:
UGA 11.5 (8th in the NCAA) UT 21.8 (48th in the NCAA)
Rushing D:
UGA 97.5 (17th) UT 242 (117th) Skewed by the GT game
Passing D:
UGA 172 (27th) UT 140 (11th)

for real? I saw a joke tweet about the fans checkerboarding but dismissed it since it had "fire butch" incoporated into some of the sections, and saw somethign about orange unis with gray helmets on the rant the other day but didn't pay it much attention.

It is confirmed that we are checkering Neyland, that comes straight from the University. No word on jerseys, etc.
Very poor move imo, we will be a laughing stock if it does not succeed.
Setting my hate for Lyle aside, I really do not know what to expect from this game. This team is as soft as I have seen since the Dooley days, and I expect home team field advantage to be a non-factor.
UGA looks to have an excellent defense that can slow down John Kelly enough to force Dormandy to have to throw. I expect a couple of interceptions and fumbles, resulting in short fields and easy UGA scores. My prediction is the game stays close through the 3rd, but UGA scores a couple TDs late. UT players will fold by the 4th quarter, and our season will snowball the rest of the year.

This game will always make me nervous. I will say that Kirby has kept this game fresh in their minds by replaying the Hail Mary every Thursday practice. It still bothers them so I'm hoping they put a little extra emphasis on this game.

All I know is that if yall shut down Kelly and our O has to depend on Dormandy and the WRs the numbers are going to be very ugly

Gotcha. I thought that y'all had checkerboard Florida a couple times, and know you've greyed us a couple times, but didn't know about in unison.
Since y'all have done this before is this more of a "it's a big sec game let's do it this week" or is it more of a desperation pull out all the stops kinda thing iyo?
On another note I do think we're the better team but I'm a bit nervous at how much heat is on butxh bc I know we're getting the kitchen sink. Reverse passes, fake punts, 4th down tries, etc.

To be fair, UGA is the biggest home game on the schedule and this may have been planned all along.
I am not a fan of the gray either, and I am afraid this could lead to trash can levels of embarrassment.

Usually it's just a once per year thing for a huge home game

I know most on the rant think we are trolling but seriously, I will be hocked if this is not a major beat down. The fans have turned on Butch, we've got players beating each other up, Butch losing his mind at his press conference.
The offense is a disaster and John Kelly is the only reason we can ever score. Dormady is such a bad fit for this offense and Butch does adjust his scheme to fit his players' strengths. All offseason, most of us were scared to death what this offense would look like without a guy like Dobbs at quarterback and we were correct.
I think UGA has a very nasty front 7 and should have Dormady pretty rattled (it doesn't take much). He's been a turnover machine and makes some very bad decisions under pressure.
I would also expect Georgia to run for 200+ on this defense. Colton Jumper trying to chase Chubb and Michel around should be comical
