Thanks for the add. Tennessee offered a family member this week. Here's his film for those that haven't seen it. He goes to the same school as Tennessee signee Trey Coleman. So film is of him playing 5A in Louisiana. The team with orange helmets, white jerseys, and orange pants is Ridgeway of Tennessee.

Austin Price with a little info regarding today's junior day.

Tykee Kellog says the Vols lead.

Brendan Harris really likes Tennessee and stay in state is a big deal. Clemson and LSU are in it. Got to spend a ton of time with Warren and Shoop. Will be back for spring.

UT leads for all of the Big 3 instate DL per VQ

4* Greg Emerson (Jackson)
4* D'Andre Litaker (The Boro)
4* Brant Lawless (Nashville)

A couple guys reporting Emerson has a chance to be a 5* along with Cade Mays when it's all said and done.

I think we have a great shot to lock up the majority of the state this year outside of a few guys here and there. It sounds like the Vols are making a hard push to get back involved for UGA OL committ Max Wray and just hosted his parents and younger brother (Stayed with Cade Mays family for the trip) a few weekends ago on one of the recruiting weekends that we just had. His younger brother is a 2019 or 2020 guy who will be highly rated and really likes UT. The Wray brothers recruitment sounds like it could get interesting going forward.

I feel like we made major upgrades with our recruiting staff this off-season (kudus to jones) and are already seeing it pay off. This years class already has a much more positive vibe to it than last years did Imo.

If Wray were to flip to UT I think we would have a strong chance of sweeping all 8 players who are currently rated a 90 4* or above in state. Not sure on #9 guy in state 89 4* Schoenwald and it sounds like South Carolina leads for #10 guy instate Master Teague 89 4* RB

Max Wray just decommitted from UGA. I mentioned in the post above that it sounded like we were making up some ground there.

Hubbs was just asked who he thought the next commit would be:

quote:

I'm going to take an instate guy, maybe Lawless

Austin Price followed up with:

quote:

(Ollie) Lane or (D'Andre) Litaker

Anyone named Teague can GTFO, IMO. I still have bad memories from the last one.

VOLS seem to be picking up steam with 4* QB Adrian Martinez out of Fresno, CA. Looks like a great fit for our system.

Martinez just decommitted from Cal coming off of his visit to Knoxville this past weekend.

He was our last upper tier option at QB imo. Would be a huge pick up to go along with Penix.

Just got a commit from 2019 corner Adonis Otey from Blackman(Murfreesboro) has offers from LSU and Florida. The 2019 class is off to a really good start and instate talent is looking as good as ever.

I think the 2019 class might be the best single class to come out of TN. Both the quality and quantity is really strong

4 Star DT Brant Lawless committed today to start the domino effect of the instate big three Dlinemen(Emerson and Litaker). He is an athletic big man that holds offers from LSU, Alabama, Ohio State, Auburn, Oklahoma and Georgia. Might land an elite Dline class from instate alone.

Alabama commit Davis is a great prospect on the edge, but a long shot. He is at least listening to Tennessee and will visit this summer. He does have grade concerns.

Also going to add that despite all having elite offer lists it would be an upset to not land them. Brendon Harris is another really good instate prospect with an elite offer list favoring the VOLS. Tennessee is battling Auburn for instate RB Master Teague with Ohio State potentially throwing their hat into the ring. Expect Teague to be a consensus four star by the end of the season.

To sum up recruiting at this moment the state of Tennessee is loaded and unlike the last class they are loving them some Tennessee.

We should be able to pull/lead for 7 out of the 9 instate 4/5* in this class.

Litaker and Emerson are just a matter of time, imo. Both of their twitter's are all UT. The pictures taken of both of them at camps recently have been with them wearing UT gear too so I feel pretty good about them. I know we lead for Harris and Johnson as well, but I'm not sure on a timeline for those 2. It sounds like the other 2 DT could make their announcement over the next few months.

That would be the best instate haul UT has had since the 2014 class where Tennessee took 9 out of the top 11.

It sounds like Litaker could make a decision this month and B. Harris out of Chatt is likely to announce in June

Brad Sheppard from Bleacher Report (Vol Fan) just said that 4* S Brendon Harris out of Chatt is all but a VOL already. He just hasn't gone public with it yet and probably won't for a little bit. Posted this on VQ tonight and put his name on it. Big news

Dual-threat QB Adrian Martinez has committed to the VOLS. He is an athletic QB that shows great touch on his passes(something that is rare among Dual-threats for whatever reason). He had offers from Alabama, Oklahoma, Georgia, Miami, and Oregon with Oklahoma trying to get in a little too late. He is a consensus high four star ranking as high as #32 in the nation on ESPN.

Going to throw in offers from Washington State, Ole Miss, Louisville, and West Virginia. Those are coaching staffs that know QBs.

Mike Canales has proved me 100% wrong from a recruiting stand point. I'm really impressed with what he's been able to come in and do rather quickly. Martinez and Penix make for a really nice QB class. Excellent work
