He's not polished by any means but Gibson absolutely tore up one of the best divisions in all of high school football last year with his arm and his legs.
I think if Nick Marshall can be successful then so can TG.

Corner over on VQ said last night(buried in a random thread I can't find) that despite what everybody thinks about Van Jefferson being a OSU lock, it's not true. He said that when Van went up there he felt like the OSU staff just considered him another body and didn't make him feel overly welcome or appreciated on his visit. When he went to UT Butch apparently pulled out the red carpet. That was big and really stood out to Van and his parents.
Corner said that UT is leading right now. Followed by OSU. He looks really good in his newer highlights IMO. Hopefully with his dad being the Titans WR Coach he blows up this year. Do we get him(If we're lucky enough) and call it good at WR though?

Just noticed we're also up to 12 - 4* instate kids for 2015 compared to the 7 in state in 14. A little more proof that the talent coming out of TN is on the way. up.

Exactly. Plus TG will have some ridiculous playmakers around him at UT, which will only make it easier.

The best part is all the talent isn't in that cesspool called Memphis anymore.

On another note, Khalil McKenzie just got his 5th star on 247(not composite) and got moved up to the #10 player overall.

VQ update on Torrance Gibson

As they continue to offer more quarterbacks it certainly seems like they don't want to have to wait until Gibson makes a decision, if he follows through with taking five official visits. It seems Tennessee would like to have one wrapped up this summer.

It would be huge. I'm losing my mind this off season man. I just watched the highlights from the VU & UT game and almost threw up 
The only part that made me feel better was seeing the coke bottles, pom poms and popcorn being thrown at VU and Franklin. Trashy, I know

Yeah recruiting is the only thing that keeps me sane during the dark times haha. I find myself often watching old games when we used to kick arse and take names during the offseason.
I watched the 2001 UT-UF game the other day and I felt better until I remembered the clusterfrick that happened the following week in ATL

At QB, Outside of Gibson, what do you think about Francois and Jones?
I keep hearing these 2 names pop up. Outside of Jones rating I can't bring myself to get hype about him. I'm not sure if it's his mechanics or throwing motion but I'm not crazy about him. Deondre Francois on the other hand, I'd be ecstatic. Whose your top 3 on the QB board NGA? Since we're apparently the only 2 Vols who use the TN board

I'm with you. I'm sorta meh on Jones but if we swing and miss on Gibson and Francois then I guess that's better than nothing. I like Francois a good bit but I have a hard time seeing him leave FL.
I'm at the point now where honestly I'm gonna be downright sad if we don't land TG lol. Everyone is probably aware by now that he's far and away my favorite QB in this class.
I will mention this though, Wes Rucker said the other day that he's been going to Blackmon's spring practices and Jennings has looked leaps and bounds better as a QB prospect since last fall. I'll be keeping an eye on his progression this year. I still think he's got way more potential on defense though.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for all of us, but we'll be fine if he does go some where else IMO. That's good to hear, I believe I saw where Barton Simmons had mentioned that as well. I watched the new spring game of his they uploaded on 247 and he does look better.
