Guarantano will probably start but QD is a very, very good passer. Will be an excellent college QB somewhere.

Much, much better than Sheriron.

JG could be very good but he is definitely not as accurate as Dormady right now.

JG has some horrible days throwing the ball. A lot of arm talent but not consistent at all.

Guarantano is really really talented but really uneven attitude wise. Nothing like Dobbs or Dormady. Much, much more emotional and that can work both for you or against you.

I would say right now it is 65/35 JG/QD for next year but if Dormady wins the job he is the best pocket passer since Casey imo.

Kind of a dumb question to ask because we haven't seen them in game but do you think the QB play has a decent chance to be better next year? Love Dobbs but I feel like he limits us in areas.

Also you would put the Casey in front of Bray and Ainge as pocket passers?

Not a big Ainge fan at all. Bray was obviously mega talented but like JG he was very uneven attitude wise.

I would be very confident in Dormady running a pro style or west coast spread type offense efficiently. Really smart, mature decision maker and plenty of arm talent.

With our offense though JG is a much better fit. He will show flashes of being much better than Dobbs but he could also make some terrible plays and decisions.

If given time to mature he will likely be much better than Dobbs and I love Dobbs.

Sounds very boom or bust like.

I remember a Pittsburgh Steelers scout coming out and saying that they were dead set on drafting Bray until they interviewed him. He said it was the worst interview they ever had with a QB and took him off the board entirely. Poor guy

His Quarterback Camp episode with Gruden was awful to watch, was by far the worst episode I saw. Gruden seemed almost dumbfounded with some of the stuff Bray would say

I remember Gruden bitching at Bray for spinning the ball every time he dropped back. He had a WTF look on his face the entire time.

Bray does love the VOLS, though. Maybe he can get it together and light up some defenses again. He is only 24. He threw such a beautiful ball.

JG is not as immature as Bray, just a typical freshman and he does play with some emotion.

I'm not saying it will be a problem, just that it will be a lot different than a guy like Dobbs who you know what you're getting demeanor and preparation wise every day.

Your qb of the future is a junior at Harrison High School. Justin Fields

Pretty pumped to read Guarantano is the favorite to start right now. Volfan, what do you think his ceiling is here and how different do you expect the offense to look next annum with JG instead of Dobbs?

Bray's arm strength has kept him on the Chiefs roster through two entire IR seasons.

His coaches say he's high on them. Who knows in a year though.

The kid is legit. Just a baller. Better arm and accuracy than Dobbs. I don't know if he's a better runner but he's pretty good at that too.

The thing about Dobbs and running is that he's oddly not that fast. (His forty is pretty average for a college QB which is prob why he was never classified as a dual threat as a prospect). It's that when he runs he sees the field so clearly. He senses pressure and cuts or jumps at just the right time to escape.

Dobbs can do pretty good on designed runs but its when he's forced to improvise and rely on instinct that you wonder if Dobbs is actually from Krypton. I've never seen such a good escape artist.
