Do you really need to be given examples of kids saying one thing and doing the complete opposite a few weeks later? Especially in recruiting?

just because other kids have done that doesn't mean he will. obviously many kids do end up committing to the program that announced as their leader.

You can think what you want. Those of us who live in reality know he isn't leaving the state of Ohio. I'm sorry that hurts your feelings but it is true.

I'm assuming you don't follow Ohio State recruiting very well, but if you did you would know their best "insider" is a guy who posts on their Rivals board under the handle NevadaBuck. When I say he is their best "insider" I literally mean that. He's almost never wrong. Here's what he had to say about Jackson Carman:

Nothing is wrong with getting in a discussion as to where Carmen is going to go. You say he is going to Clemson based on the recent articles and public comments he is saying and the OSU people say otherwise based upon what their insiders are saying. The only who knows where he is going is Carmen, and he may actually not know right now. No need to get your panties all rustled and act like a 12 year old girl because some guys on a message board disagree with you.

No one is sucking up to any other fanbase. But man, at some point, you have to give it a rest. Sure, Clemson has been a top 5 program the last 5 years, maybe a little bit more, but for you to imply that our football program somehow is better than UGa's simply because we have now won 1 more NC is just plain stupid given the head-to-head record between the two schools.

And then to say argue that the Clemson "brand" is somehow just as big or bigger than OSU simply because we have beaten them twice in the last 3-4 years and have been in back to back playoffs is just so stupid. Sure, Dabo has put our program on the national map and now Clemson is being recognized as a true top 5 program with our recent results on the field and the way Dabo is recruiting, but c'mon, the Clemson "brand" isn't even in the same stratosphere as OSU. Keep arguing that point all you want, but all it does is so you don't know what the true meaning of "brand" is.

And just for good measure:

i've never said there is no chance he goes to OSU. but nobody that is asserting that he will go to OSU has any basis for that, given he has CLemson as his leader right now. it doesn't make much sense the kid says Clemson is his leader if he is planning to go to OSU.

My assertion that a kid who has publically stated Clemson is is leader may go to CLemson is not 'defensive'. The kid also said that he won't go to OSU simply because it is in Ohio. I've seen several people say on here he will go to OSU because it is in Ohio where he lives.

I'm making a logical conclusion that OSU may not get him and he may come to Clemson.

i think a 12 year old is more likely to be a person who asserts a kid is a lock for OSU even though the kid currently has Clemson as the leader.

that doesn't make any sense.

the alabama fans on here are so redneck but i don't think you actually attended the college. it is a sidewalk fan thing.

it is going to be funny if the kid chooses Clemson after the posts on here asserting he does otherwise.
