Bo Scarbrough was mentioned and lsu fans flipped out but alabama fans cant stand to hear something good about another teams player?... Please explain your logic..

Scarbrough was a player that Alabama fans were "okay with" going to Ole Miss because they felt like they had a really good shot at Fournette

Now Fournette's just another RB, and Scarbrough will be lacing up cleats in the MLB and NFL in 4 years.

Typical

Because when talking about #1 players in the country lately, which would factually include Fournette, the very first post and throughout the thread had folks trying to diminish LF in any way while propping up their own player who wasn't ranked in the top 10 of overall players.

I like how bo Scarborough is now 20 pounds of pure muscle heavier than LF as well as being faster, a better athlete, and a better receiver.

That kid looks legit but I Clowney was the concensus #1 recruit. I don't think Blackshear is on the same level right now.

He's probably not right now I dunno, but then again, he's already broke all of Clowney's sack and TFL records through his junior season.

We'll know more during the course of his senior season. Right now he's definitely showing signs of being more polished than DeQuan Bowers and Carlos Dunlap, two other high school DEs from SC. But, of course, Clowney raised the bar high - we'll see I suppose.

the title of the post is for freak athlete for 2015. Not who is or will be better. Scarborough is a freak. How could he not be considered near the top in that category. i'd also put Peppers up there and Garrett. those are my top 3 in no order for the 2014 season. cece jefferson is one to watch for 2015

In the thread the OP is clearly talking about the guy who most people believe to be the #1 overall prospect. LF was the composite #1 guy this year and had been talked about that way since he was in the 8th grade.

LSU fans have their hopes set so high for Fournette. It's gonna be funny when he doesn't live up to all these ridiculous expectations y'all are putting on him

That is going to be something to behold. If this kid isn't a superstar, best RB in the league from year one he will be a disappointment, because all of the hype they've surrounded him with.

If he doesn't reach these crazy heights of hype, who is to blame? Since he is this can't miss prospect do you blame LSU for not developing him well or using him correctly?

As I said, if this kid isn't the second coming of Bo Jackson or Adrian Peterson next year, this place will be hilariously funny.

Oh and yes, by next year. After all you guys have hyped the kid to be the best ever since Adrian Peterson and a generational talent. He will be the main starter as well.

Holy frick you act as just LSU fans have done this. Not the fact that he has been well known since he was an 8th grader and recruiting analysts across the country started these comparisons and naturally the team he now plays for has further perpetuated them. Oh, the horror!! Please act like BAMA fans or anyone else for that matter (I say bama because they were a finalist) would be arguing this adamantly against the #1 recruit in the country if he had signed with them. Please try.

You guys haven't? Uh, read through this thread and see the downvotes and angry posts in response to anyone who ddoesn't agree that Leonard Fournette is the best freak/prospect hell since AP.

You guys want to hype, defend the hype then want to lower expectations?

Sorry that's now how it works.

Rivals has Hand as the best in the country. I believe Myles Garrett is the better DE.

Just because Alabama is my team doesn't mean my brain doesn't function. I wish I could say the same for the LSU fans losing their shite in this thread.

Bucc, when you're done posting silly gifts and emoticons in response to my factual comment that Scarbrough runs a 4.6, please read this link that states he "ran a best 40 yard of 4.59," implying he ran at least one if not more times that were >4.59. Hence, he's about a 4.6 guy. No shame in that.

UAAA Combine

Coincidentally the article also mentions that Scarbrough is not a natural at WR, which is crazy considering that according to you that is one of his skills that puts him on Bo Jackson's level.

George Campbell has to be up there in regards to freak athletes for '15.

He definitely needs to work on his hands. It is weird because he has damn mitts that should engulf the ball. He is a "freak athlete" though. His measurables and everything are off the charts.

He probably didn't run a 4.12 laser, but you can agree that it wouldn't have been a fricking 4.6. Bo Scarbrough is a man child, and in my opinion is a better WR than anything, but he can't hold Bo Jackson's fricking jock strap on the football field. And he's definitely not a better football player than LF.

IMO the freakiest athlete this year
