Yeah, Saban loves him some bump and run.
He would be perfect in your system, of course he will be perfect in ours too.

Daylon Mack is a DT prospect weighing 305 pounds.
He registered multiple TD runs last year that went for 40 or more yards.
I'm trying to fathom something as impressive as that and I can't.
Someone show me something.

as for 2013 you have to include Myles Garret in the convo. I havent looked up enough players for 14 but Daylon Macks vid on hudl will make you laugh. He actually has good speed for someone his size

Some are saying that he is a bigger, faster, stronger version of Clowney at the same age ... and a much more intense, meaner, person with a killer instinct.

Toliver, Mitch Hyatt, Ricky Town, and George Campbell are the guys who strike me as the ones who will end up in the composite top 5-10 next year.
Clemson has a legit shot at 2 of these 4.
My body would explode if we got Hyatt and Campbell.

Back to the original topic-- George Campbell- he's the fastest player in 2014 (and was faster than any 2013 prospect) all while bein 6' 4" 200, the only question is if his hands develop.
hands....seem to be an important part of the equation, and though one can "work" on hands, a guy either has soft hands or he doesn't.

To be honest, I didn't see anything that outstanding in the (frankly) only time I saw Fournette play, in the UA All Star game.
He didn't stand out there at all.
Maybe he just had a bad day.

He did run a wheel route catch a TD and immediately commit to LSU without breaking a sweat.

here is tyren jones doing pretty much the same things to georgia's best high school competition, breaking gang tackles, breaking ankles, running away from fools, etc, etc..
Tyren Jones
i hope you guys dont start jumping off bridges if fournette just turns out to be another good college RB and not the next AP
Poor example since Tyren is coming off a knee injury and, behind Alvin Kamara, the 2nd dumbest commitment in modern times.
Fournette is clearly a much better athlete than Tyren will ever be, but you've a point that he may not be the next great RB.

Sounds like exactly the type of guy that Coach Ball excels with. Hopefully this will be the year he finally pulls down an elite prospect.

Braden Smith was 2014s freak
Physical Freak! i agree completely but he has problems pass blocking
When you are an OG in a WingT run system, I would expect pass protection problems since you've never done it before
He will be the best OT from 2014 easy

Not even fricking close.

Leonard Fournette = Marcus Dupree
If this is true then the SEC is fricked. Leonard is humble and with Marcus Dupree talent he could go down as the greatest ever.

LSU fans have their hopes set so high for Fournette. It's gonna be funny when he doesn't live up to all these ridiculous expectations y'all are putting on him

Jabril Peppers is 2014's "freak". Fournette is an awesome running back but Peppers could star at about four different positions. Dude was all-state at two different positions and led his team in rushing yards, receptions, tackles and INTs.
He's a great athlete, but Fournette is just as big of a freak.
He's 6'1" 225 lbs and won the 100m state title in track. He could play every position on the field if he wanted to, but they wouldn't risk injury to him for that.
He catches like a WR, tackles like a LB, and can run like a shifty scat back or power bulldozing back.
Both are exceptional athletes. I would also say Adoree is up there. Kid is a freak. Pretty thick for 5'10" at 185 lbs. and has actual world class speed and elite ball skills.

Both Fournette and Scarborough are going to be really good ones.
Of course, part of that is dependent on who they have around them. If Bama or LSU has a mediocre OL, then great seasons are less likely.
Of course, I saw highlight reels of both of them, but seriously - if you pick and choose enough plays, you can make any good player look like the second coming.
Looking at their reels, it certainly looks like Fournette HAD to make more plays, as his OL led to him getting hit in the backfield more often.
The point is, though, that any 5* talent is going to be so rare that they're going look absurdly good against the average HS player. The same applies once a kid goes from college to the NFL - even great college players don't always make it in the pros.
They're listed as 1 inch and 1 lb from each other in size on 247. I'm sure both will develop once they're in college.
Why is there even a debate? Unless one of them gets switched to LB and suddenly has to tackle the other, the debate is pointless.

Fournette wasn't even a unanimous number 1
If he was number 1 on one service I guess that means no one else was a "concensus" number 1 either.
I am sure he's just not that good. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
