Both the insecurity and frustration really became obvious with that 5 minutes of repetitive posting. I would fear the recruiting of uga too if I were you. It's unprecedented. This year was as flawed as you will see UF and uga rosters, and ut still couldn't take the next step. Did your window of opportunity slip away with butch as your head coach? Dobbs is gone.

seems you're getting super defensive because you can clearly see the tide turning in each program, but has any UGA fan ever disputed any of this? It'd be like us telling SC or Tech how much better we are then them...it doesnt' even need to be said because it's obvious and indisputable.

I am probably one of the VERY few that ever backs UT on the SECR whenever this topic comes up. UT is without a doubt the 2nd best SEC program of all time, with UGA/UF/LSU/AU all jumbled up together just below.

You telling us those things isn't an insult and it's not going to rile us up, because we already know it. Soooo..congrats? You can't deny though (especially considering this thread is literally about UGA's recruiting vs the rest of the east) that our current class should be cause for concern to everyone else since we haven't had a class like this maybe EVER IN OUR HISTORY, to go on top of the fact that the rest of the east (UT included) is recruiting WELL below their usual standards. Let's for discussion's sake taht kirby/butch/mcelwain/muschamp are all relatively even coaching wise (would that really be that much of a stretch?)...in that case talent is the big decider on who does better. And it's pretty doggone clear who is starting to separate themselves in that regard and not only are we separating, we're lapping the damn field.

Insecurities and Frustration? Right.. That sounds more like the adjectives describing a fan base who has Jim Chaney as their OC and got embarrassed by a 5-7 Ole Miss squad.

Dobbs is gone you're right. He was a one dimensional, fringe 3/4 * QB who abused Georgia as a starter. His backup, Guarantano, is a borderline 5* QB/#1 Dual threat out of his class who is the complete package for this offense. Elite legs and an elite arm with a higher ceiling than Dobbs. You keep beating us on the trail and we'll keep beating you on the field. Sounds like a plan.

Dobbs alone was good for like 6 more wins during his tenure comapred to without. But yeah they'll def be better without him.

Hell, if it wasn't for dobbs UT wouldn't have a win over UGA since 2009

The 18 year old true freshman caught a red shirt to learn the playbook and add size. When your 22 year old SR QB is good enough to allow that to happen that's what you do. Otherwise you lose to Georgia Tech, Vanderbilt and Ole Miss all in the same year.

What a dumb statement

He never lost to Ole Miss. that would be Justin Worley. Nice deflection though.

He also balled out against Vanderbilt. Dobbs was never the issue this year for UT. When injuries take their toll on your team like they did for us this season as they did for UGA in 2014 It's hard to bounce back from.

My apologies. I thought Dobbs started that one but I see he started his streak the next week against Bama.

Frustrated but for different reasons than you are.

I am frustrated due in large part because richt left a mess of a roster, but we are replacing our worst recruiting class in recent memory with what might be our best class ever and on top of a strong freshman class. In short, the future for uga appears bright.

Otoh, this was the year all ut fans were pointing towards and you choked. You are losing the top rated passer in the sec and his top wr and top apb, and your recruiting is as average as it gets. In short, there is plenty of reason to doubt the future can be any better than it has been the past 2 years at ut.

I forgot to mention ut is losing the de that was so good, he broke Reggie whites sack record. Maybe a 3 star can replace him. Things looking up on rocky top.

They are yesterday's news. Someone has to champion the East vs. Bama and it's going to be UGA. Not being arrogant it's just set up that way for the next two seasons.

Very much the preseason 2016 Tennessee expectation wise. So many starters and reserves coming back with a top 3 class. Pressure on Kirby to win will be felt.
