I think it's okay to have opinions on kids that differ from the coaching staff's. IMO Carr is not a tackle and we have enough guards. Should we want an additional guard I'd like to see Darryl Williams get that spot. I just don't see anything in Carr's film that makes me think that he will contribute any time soon.
And in all honesty I still am taking a wait and see approach with Cristobal as far as his coaching is concerned. Recruiting wise he's one of the best.
