And we have the longer streak of consistency and sending QBs and WRs to the NFL with top draft picks.

I think we have a WR that was a top 10 pick and considered a top 5ish WR in the NfL over Auburn. Not to mention an OC that knows what the NFL is about, but hey, gooooo daddy

Lol at you bragging about Schottenheimer. Ask any Missouri fan about his time with the Rams. They all think he is beyond terrible.

How have you sent more quarterbacks to the NFL? Auburn has had two first round draft picks in the last decade in Jason Campbell and Cam.

As far as wide receivers are concerned, who does Georgis have other than AJ Green? Sammie Coates has drawn a lot of praise from the Steelers after being their 3rd round draft pick, and most people project Dhaquille Williams as s first round pick this year. I might be confusing him with another receiver, but I believe Kyle Davis has also said Dhaquille is his favorite player or at least favorite receiver

I don't know that I'd brag about that one.

Well, Chris Conley was drafted ahead of

Sammie Coates

and we also have Tavarres King, Kris Durham, and Jonathon Rumph currently on NFL teams.

Meanwhile, Auburn has Coates and Emory Blake.

Also,

Dhaquille Williams

is not in the NFL. Otherwise, we could go ahead and count Malcolm Mitchell for our side.

Isn't this the type of argument more typical for the rant?

Any actual updates on the Kyle Davis kid?

Most recent thing I read about him was on the ajc recruiting blog.

It’s also worth noting that the new Cost of Attendance guidelines—or lack thereof—places UGA at a decided disadvantage for prospects who may be looking at those numbers as a part of their decision-making process. Currently, Auburn and Tennessee can offer players a stipend in the $5,000 range, while UGA’s stipend is below $3,000; that’s a big enough discrepancy to warrant a conversation.

Putting all of that aside, however, Davis is still in line to attend Dawg Night and there is still plenty of time for a decision to be made about where he will sign, but stick his father’s comments in your back pocket for now, just in case.

Sounds like both schools are still in it atm.

He gave an interview this morning that basically denounced everything his dad said. He said his dad is not football savvy and that his mom will be the bigger influence in his decision (he lives with his mom, not his dad) and that she is very close with Thomas Brown and Bryan McLendon at UGA.

Thanks for the info. I appreciate as well the lack of any Auburn/UGA bashing that hijacked it earlier. When I saw how this thread was staying at the top, I thought he might have actually committed somewhere.

Lol, the last two pages were spent talking about things that don't matter to recruits yet ONE player, who hasn't played for UGA in 7 years, is going to be the difference? I guess all the best OLs are gonna come to Auburn since we had the #2 pick in the draft last year.

He knows how to underwhelm in the NFL that's for sure.

As for this thread though, doesn't matter Kyle Davis is going to UGA, congrats.

The only piece of important information in this thread is that his dad said one thing and Davis said not to pay any attention to it. Everything else is just a part of the endless Auburn-UGA sniping match

I don't what his family make up is, but the dad is generally the boss if the parents are still married. I don't know too many dads who let their kids boss them around

Parents are separated/divorced. He lives with his mom. Davis said his dad doesn't know a lot about football, that he's more of a track guy.

So not only are you repetitive, but also stuck in the 1950's. Nice.

Are you not the leading figure in your house?

Is there a problem with both the mom and dad being equally prominent in their house?

I'll tell you what, you ask anyone in my family who runs the house and everyone will tell you my mother, with quickness.

It's Randy Savage who use to beat Elizabeth. You can't expect much from him.

I think most people are, especially with both parents home..

Such is not Kyle Davis' situation though, his dad isn't a big part of his life obviously. I hate to say this, but sounds like he wants to come back around now that his son has a little bit of potential...
