If you wanted me to talk about the ESPN rankings, maybe you should have quoted or responded to my post about the ESPN rankings. I will never just assume we are talking about them when the consensus here is that they are the worst

They're not even close to the same type of WR. That's why it's extra stupid for anyone to argue over their ratings. Of course LSU wanted Speedy. However, it's not quite the loss that A&M wants to make us believe it is. We needed physical possession WRs more than anything in this class. Dupre, Quinn and Upchurch fit that mold. LSU doesn't rely heavily on the 1yd pass and yac to move the chains like A&M does. Speedy is perfect for that offense.

My picture of Speedy's locker with zero commentary turned this thread into a nightmare -- a picture that simply met the OP's request. Eight months after 5 for 5, many of y'all still melt at the drop of hat so it really should be no surprise that it's posted over and over.

nah, usually we bring up the fact that the preceding 5 games we won before you tucked tail and ran. Or that you also quit the series in the 70s because we reeled off several wins in a row. But that's besides the point. This is the recruiting board

It's actually not beside the point. You guys bring up Speedy on the SECr. It's because you have no recent victories against LSU so you have to rely on getting one recruit.
