IMO he has been a big time prospect for 3 years where every recruiting reporter has been trying to get info from him for that long. He didn't want the cat out of the bag he was committing to OM to come from his brother the day after the Egg Bowl to OM reporters. He wants the spotlight and he has earned it. He wants to "make a splash" and do it on his terms.

That is in no way relevant to what is happening right this moment. I don't think he is waiting on hype though, nobody does that. Schedule an announcement for the media, yes, but not intentionally withhold a decision already made just to draw a spotlight.

I told Ole Miss fans, back when he was suppose to commit anyday to them, that he would stretch it out to NSD. Possibly further. He's a great kid, but his recruitment is just like any other high profile kid. It hasn't event reached "circus status" yet. The best, or worst, is yet to come.

Who thought it wasn't going to be a circus? He's the No 1 recruit in the country of course his recruitment was going to be ridiculous.

There were several Rebel newbs that thought it was a done deal. Most logical Rebel fans knew they would have to wait a bit longer for him.

I just don't understand everybody calling him an attention whore when he quit talking to the media during the season, has 1 or 2 interviews that everyone freaks out about and people act like he wanted the attention. It's not his fault grown men want to know what he's thinking 24/7 and will pay to know.

The earliest he will commit will be the UA game next month... if he doesn't do it then it will probably go until signing day.
