Bama is definitely more of a threat than UCLA. I think all that I want to leave home stuff was just an excuse for when we sucked.

I wouldn't worry too much. We wouldn't want to ruin your wish list this year.

So I foolishly decide to explain why Evans is probably going to Auburn. (No I didn't say AU lock even though that's how it will be interpreted)

Now since I explained it, that makes me "nervous"

Not surprised at all trey hasn't responded to this.

Pretty sure they dropped him when they thought they wouldn't get Evans

DBMB strikes again:

AL.com article - Evans will visit UCLA

They are selling him playing offense as Wildcat QB and WR said DC meeting went very well

quote:

"It was a great visit with Coach Mora," Evans' father Alan Evans said. "Coach Mora said he feels Rashaan could come in and compete for the starting job vacated by Anthony Barr from day one. He said Rashaan was a dynamic player that could come in and take over the Pac-12."

Earlier in the day, Evans and his family met with UCLA defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich, who told Evans the Bruins would also like to give the Auburn High standout a look at playing on offense as both a wildcat quarterback and receiver. Evans' father said the day of visits with the UCLA staff made a big impression on his son and locked up an unofficial visit for the Bruins on the final weekend before National Signing Day.

Sucks but that article is so D&G seems like it is a huge turn of events

I've said from the get go that Evans sounded like a kid who wants to get away from Auburn. I think UCLA is a real player and I really don't think he is AU. Kid wants out.

That article sounds like they definitely are

The Anthony Barr sales pitch could get him if he is ok and fam is ok with him being all the way on the West Coast

He and Whitley will easily be one of the top duo's at LB in 2 years in the country

ETA: If they land him, all it took for ZW was a OV

His dad has said he would like for him to stay close, but they will travel to see him if that is his son's choice.

It's looking like UCLA is a real player. You don't spend $600 or so to unofficially visit a place that isn't a threat.
