The crystal balls on 247 are far from 100 percent accurate anway. Rashaan Evans was 96 percent to Auburn. Kaleb Kim was 100 percent to Georgia until he announced his favorite was Auburn a few days ago

Those predictions are a joke. Writers make predictions to entice visits to the website. They can change their predictions every hour if they want to. If 247 wants credibility with this feature, Shannon Terry needs to create some new rules. Such as, you can only make 1 prediction per month or 2 months per player. Or you do not receive points if your pick is made within a month of a commitment. I could go on, and on about the Crystal Ball

They should just restrict it to analysts that work for 247. Those guys do a good job with it, but idiots like Carvell don't need another trolling platform.

I'd disagree. Look at the revamping we just did with our defensive staff. We pushed Grantham out the door (I don't care if it says he left on his own, we pushed him out) and go the DC from the National Championship winning team. Brought on one of the best in the biz in Rocker as well as a very good hire in Ekeler at LB's. He's got a fire and wants to win now. I think that's pretty clear.

So UGA fans honestly believe you will win a national championship with Richt?

However, a future at UGA may be less attractive. UGA has Richt, a solid coach that has generally done less with more. I dont see a fire in Richt, nor do I see a chance he is fired. No championships in UGA's near future. Richt has it too good at UGA and seems content with a really good year once every two years..
You do realize that we've been close 3 times since Richt has been here.

And I'm pretty sure if you asked every Vol fan they would want to be where the Vols are at now and if you ask every UGA fan most would want to be where we are now and going forward.

Why would we not have a chance?

Possibly, seems we were close, probably not. I'm not a strong advocate of CMR. The new hires should make for an interesting season, I will reserve judgement until then. However, I will go out on a limb and proclaim that the the current state of UT's program is not as healthy as UGA's. Tennessee seem to be trending up lately.

Let me rephrase that... do you think there is a better chance of UGA winning a championship under Richt than not winning one?

Better odds with a different coach? Depends on who it is.

Better odds to win with Richt than lose with Richt? There's not a coach in America who has those odds.

You do realize that Georgia finished with 2 losses and didn't even win the eastern division 1 of the times you supposedly came close

The obvious answer is Richt will never win a national championship. Teams generally have to finish either with 1 loss or totally undefeated to accomplish that feat. Richt has never finished any season undefeated and has only finished with fewer than 2 losses 1 time

And how many losses did the team who won the championship in 07 have?

You also realize the national champion had 2 losses that year too, right?

That's just like, your opinion, man.

So you're saying that it takes, typically, one or fewer losses to win a natty. Richt has finished with 1 loss before and been 5 yards away from another one. Richt will never win one. Great logic. Got it.

Completely agree. Amazing that a recruit can turn, what I perceive to be grown men, into 15 year old girls having an internet slap fight.

"Well we have a full indoor practice facility"

"You wish you were UGA the past 5 years"

"OH yeah, well UGA fans are too sensitive"

Jeez guys, discuss recruiting civilly and let a recruit make up his own mind based off of HIS criteria. Or is that too much to ask?

*steps down off moral high horse*
