UA sites have been reporting for months that UA was not in it and that Carter would not be a part of the UA class.

Thank goodness. Not impressed with this kid at all.

Not impressed? Ok.

He's 6'7, 270# runs a 4.65

LSU is on him late, but anything could happen with floridas demise.

Toa degree I agree with the Gump.

Carter is mostly about awesome measurables and meh football skill. He's definitely a boom or bust type.

I think a lot of people based their opinions on Carter off of his game against Booker T. Washington. That's unfair to him IMO.

He's coming to UGA, but we'll appreciate you showing him a good time and feeding him well on somebody else's dollar. TIA

3-4 this year?

I'm speaking of TOP talent...McDowell doesn't count when you consider the sick talent in the state this year. Only one top player with an offer isn't committed to us at this point. Pretty good when there are 15 instate studs this year. DWI

Cam Robinson, McDowell and Sims. Soon to be, Hootie, Quinn and Fournette. Keeps adding up. But hell, LSU didn't want any of those guys.

And if we're talking about "top talent", the state of Georgia is loaded every year with 25 players that would qualify as "top talent" in the swamp. Its a numbers game, but that isn't your strong suit now is it? It's too bad LSU can't get any of those top players in the state of Georgia. Maybe that's the reason LSU lost to UGA?

Only big name we really lost was CRob. We were recruiting Mcdowell as a FB, and didn't even offer Sims.
Hootie we may or may not get but we aren't pursuing very hard anymore. And at you saying we lose Quinn and Fournette.

Holy shite, a UGA fan talking trash about losing in state talent. Now I've seen it all. I'll just drop this here:

La 2013 rankings

Ga 2013 rankings

Tell me again who has an issue with losing in state talent. Hope you stick around here for Jan 2nd and then NSD so we can compare results again.

ETA: congrats on plucking two out of the top 15 recruits from Georgia last year, big haul

He was 6'5-230 a few days ago but now you gotta factor in the added weight of LSU fans hanging between his legs

I'd take Christian Miller or Rashaan Evans over Carter in a heartbeat

I know a base D doesn't mean much, but isn't he adamant about being a 3-4 OLB?

Robinson is really the only one here that fits the case you're trying to make. You're showing your desperation to make a point with those last 2 there.

LSU never even offered Sims, Cameron Robinson and McDowell are the only examples that you have made that even qualify.
I love how you act as if Georgia doesn't have a problem with losing in state talent LSU easily outperforms Georgia when it comes to keeping in state talent. Oh, and Louisiana puts out more NFL players per capita than any other state.

I'm not saying he hasn't, but I haven't heard anything about that. We found a way to use KeKe Mingo, and I think Carter could be used similarly within our defense.
