He is saying what I said above. Shea and his family believe that Sean will be an on field coach at a mid major within a year maybe two. So they are not counting on Sean and Shea ever being at the same school at least long term. At least that's according to what his dad said a few weeks ago.

The story I was told was that yes, Shea wanted to play with Sean. But Sean wasn't far enough along in his career to get an on the field job at a school that Shea would consider. So either they wouldn't be at the same school or Shea would play at a mid major school. I'm all for Freeze locking Shea up if Sean is willing to spend another year or 2 in an administration role.
I think the plan has always been to use Shea as leverage for Sean. Hey, more power to them. Nothing wrong with that.
If I am interpreting you all correctly, right now Shea will follow Sean (sean gets a pay bump and better title) to OM so that Sean can get some great experience and move to an on field position within 2 years or stay at OM as an on field coach.

Thats true but everything we have been hearing over the last couple of weeks is that we were a heavy lean for Shea regardless of what Sean was doing. Maybe the Pattersons and Freeze knew that Sean was getting the job 3 weeks ago? I don't know but Shea has been a lean our way for a little bit.

Yes, he has been a lean.
And yes, Freeze has known he is getting the job for awhile.
This should finalize the deal. OM has done a great job with Shea and it helps that LSU has Franks committed. Congrats!

my source told me last week that shea is all Ole Miss, said that he likes the fact that Freeze is soft on qbs and he'll never have to worry about being told what play to run or where to throw the ball.

Yep. Mad.
Not speaking for the other guy, but LSU already has a very good prospect committed. No LSU fans should be "mad" about not landing Patterson. Dissappointed? Sure.

I was just trying to help him out. He probably left the thread because he was mad.

a lsu fan trying to flame another teams quarterbacks after last year is just dumb. your quarterback looked clueless in almost every play of every game
