So if Sean went to be QB coach at Central Michigan Shea was following him?

we all know that wouldn't happen. A major college would reach out for him. But if we're playing the hypothetical game, no, probably not. He'd be open right now and listening to every major school in the country.

But big bro has leverage and he's using. Great for him and their family.

No Batoon has been with freeze for a long time but in an administrative role. When our LB coach left to be the USF dc Batoon became the LB coach and his administrative spot came open. Just a convenient case of job shifts.

We don't have an on field spot available for Sean.

Fwiw Shea and his dad believe Sean will be an on field coach at a kid major within 2 years. They don't expect him to be at the school Shea chooses. At least not long term.

Yes

Eta: assuming that's the job he's taking. Nothing has been confirmed or announced on our side officially.

Last time he was in town he was at oxford high throwing with DK Metcalf, Terrance Metcalf's son who most are projecting to be one of the top WRs of 2016. If both of these guys start recruiting others this early we have a chance to have a special class.

From what I have been hearing since the end of the season was that Sean wanted to be an on the field coach and not an Admin. I guess that has changed.

It probably hasn't. Every admin guy is there hoping to have an on field spot (especially at his age). Freeze has probably given him an admin spot with an option for promotion within 2-3 years.

The whole deal was that Seas was going to a small school that Shea would never go to so they wouldn't be together. I'm all for it though.

English is not the primary language of the aquatic life.

Everyone knows they speak Portuguese.

The story I was told was that yes, Shea wanted to play with Sean. But Sean wasn't far enough along in his career to get an on the field job at a school that Shea would consider. So either they wouldn't be at the same school or Shea would play at a mid major school. I'm all for Freeze locking Shea up if Sean is willing to spend another year or 2 in an administration role.
