@jrjr Roc is a good RB but he'd sit in favor of Jovon...if y'all signed him he'd likely be your starter next yr and there's a good chance he is a 1 & done

If he is one and done I don't think hes going to Bama. They already have running backs up the butt and considering Alabama's system I doubt Saban is just going to put him to front of the pack.

Its in his best interest to go to Auburn.

That would be a big "frick You" to the NCAA

Why?

There was never any indication AU was involved in the grade changing. If they had been, there would have been mention of it and repercussions. And we certainly would not have been allowed to recruit him again.

Never.

Agreed.

Makes sense to me. It would be as likely as a NCAA investigator leading a charge to kick a coach out of basketball for "high crimes" only to hire him a few years later.

You really think Trooper went from AHC at AU to CB coach at Arky St. for no reason?

He was WR coach and Asst. Head Coach on a team that was 3-9 and got fired.

Now he's CB coach.

Seems reasonable to me. You usually have to take a lesser position after you're fired.

Agreed. Also, we have the best OL unit in the league coming back and will only lose 2 of them in the next 3 years, unless one leaves early.

Kozan (LG) is a soph this yr.
Shon Coleman is a Soph
Avery Young is a soph

So after this year we'll have to replace Dismukes (C) and Chad Slade (RG).

Sounds like the perfect target for UA's annual 5 star flip

Why not UT or FSU. Both depth charts appear favorable from an outsider.

Many times in order to soften the NCAA blow teams agree to part with a player. It's a pretty standard practice when major recruiting violations occur.

I know I meant Bama coaches meeting his requirements which is what seemed to hold him off when he was "perceived" as a Bama lean yet it might've been because AU thought they still couldn't recruit him

Now they can - might've changed the game we will see.

Yeah, not like he's already signed with Auburn before or anything

“I’ve always liked coach Malzahn,” Robinson said. “He was actually the first coach, OC to recruit me out of high school. He came to my high school when I was in 11th grade and told me I could do some special things with him.
And then there's this...

Alabama was the first to offer because Auburn couldn't at the time. Now, that has changed. Auburn is all of a sudden in his top 5, and expected to offer as soon as Jovon Robinson visits next Friday. Auburn being back in the picture will completely change everything.
