Did you even read the article I linked? Here. I'll spell it out. Again.

ALABAMA WAS HIS FIRST OFFER WHEN HE WAS IN HIGH SCHOOL.

Pretty sure TS put that in a post in this thread and AU folks were the ones that made a big deal about it.

Your brethren appear to have reading comprehension issues. I corrected them. Thank you for the applause.

The fact TS felt the need to making others understand Bama offered first and correct them, sounds like it's a pretty big deal to him.

Nope. I didn't care who offered first.

How many running backs have chosen AU over Bama the past few years? I'd say less than the number who have trolled the shite out of Auburn only to sign with Bama..

how many have we gone heads up for over the last few years?.... Hart, TJ, and Roc?... The best RB either team has signed since Richardson is probably Tre Mason... but we'll see it play out.

Man, Roc was barely recruited by Bama. Which was dumb. I guess I was counting Calloway, too. More of an ath. Rumors of him trying to return, ironically..

Alabama set out the red carpet for Racean Thomas late in his recruitment.

Red carpet in January after previously being told to kick rocks for the past 18 months. I don't blame him for not looking at Bama after that cold shoulder.

"Hey, Roc. I know that we've told you for the last year and a half that you aren't good enough, but now that Fournette has committed to LSU, you are our number one running back target." Lame.

The ones who choose to have very short and non-productive NFL careers?

@ a Auburn fan bringing up an "unproductive NFL career" like you guys have RB's lighting the world on fire. Brown and Williams were top 5 picks and how long and productive were those careers? Auburn has 1 RB on a NFL roster and Eddie Lacy scored more TD's last year than he has in his career, and Richardson did the same thing in 2012.

Was about to post what TS just posted up ^^^^ there

He meant Jovon's 1st offer in HS was from Bama and subsequently Bama had a huge lead (he loved Bama) until his grade situation arose and Bama coaches basically backed off

He chose Auburn instead

A few months ago Bama had a pretty significant lead for him it was thought....how much that has changed since then I don't know

They were very productive while they were healthy (Carnell Williams even won Rookie of the Year). Injuries derailed both of their careers, obviously, just as they did with Kenny Irons (tore his ACL during his first ever preseason game). Ben Tate is the current starting running back for the Cleveland Browns, and he has had a couple damn good seasons with the Houston Texans in a back-up role. Tre Mason will also be drafted in the 2nd-3rd round this year, and his career is yet to be determined.

Are touchdowns the measuring stick for an NFL running back now? I hope not...

Eddie Lacy is a damn fine NFL running back. Trent Richardson and Mark Ingram, not so much. Glen Coffee, we will never know...but he isn't in the league anymore.

Auburn has put Rudi Johnson, Carnell Williams, Ronnie Brown, Kenny Irons, and Ben Tate in the NFL since 2001, with Tre Mason pending. That's pretty damn good, and Mike Dyer would be in the NFL right now if he had any type of brain or self-control.

A LINK to him saying this back early into his high-school recruitment would suffice.

I would love to read it.

What kind of measuring stick do you want to use? Since 2001 Alabama RB's have ran for 13927 yards and scored 137 rushing touchdowns while having 2176 rec yards and 15 scores in the NFL.

Auburn has had some amazing backs through the years but in the last decade+ you guys don't have a right to talk about Bama backs and "non-productive NFL careers"

Trent I can agree with. Ingram had his first good (and healthy) year last year, and I look for him to have a better year next year.
