Jesus Christ.

First of all, this is a stupid argument of no consequence, so it's not surprising that you're front and center in it. And second of all I'm not sure what you're trying to prove that no sensible, observant college football fan doesn't already know.

Attrition happens. Guys get hurt, guys transfer, guys quit, guys fail out. It happens. The fact that you can sign 28 guys a year but only have 85 total scholarships reflects this.

That it happens to Ole Miss is not something unique. Yet you're here making a big goddamn deal out of it to gain e-cred on a terribly stupid message board. God damn son.

engie pls

You will never know that for sure as long as you root for MSU.

You must not have looked at our 09 class recently. But 7 drafted and 12 overall guys currently in the NFL is probably not up to your standards...

Those 4-5 truly elite players did a lot last year as FR.

Literally no one is arguing that.

They will continue to do a lot more.

Or that.

quote:

Hooks had a couple decent games, LSU being one, and Kailo was buried in a pretty good group of RBs.

Hooks has not yet shown he was worthy of a high 4* status in any way. Not that it's a big deal, because most JUCOs don't in their first year. Justin Cox hasn't either for that matter and Denico Autry never did. Kailo has pretty well proven himself unworthy of his ranking, seeing how he was the highest-ranked RB on your roster and is now buried on a depth chart at corner. It only becomes an issue if Hooks doesn't contribute big this year and if Kailo never does.

What I said was very, very simple. Quit trying to twist it. Beyond the elite 4, Engram, and Derrick Jones, that class has a hell of a lot to prove to be considered elite overall. 4 elite players does not make up an elite class.

Take State's top 10 commits against our 10 total and the separation is only about 20 points on 247. I'm ok with that. It's not like they've beat us to head to head for anyone other than Peters.

It's not surprising you are one of the first ones crying about it either.

God forbid anyone say let's pump the brakes on "well their class will nevAr be as good as this one" about a class that hasn't proven much on the field. And your entire fanbase goes t-total fricktard because people aren't going to hand them the national title because they won a paper recruiting victory one year. Something you do every February because Mullenz can't croot!11! Oh, wait...

Why do you keep lying to yourself about this? The sheep in you is showing.

Who else do you have that our staff really put the pressure on?

Jones? Thanks, but we have Stringfellow, Johnson and Pettaway.

Dear? We heard both sides cooled on him for character issues. This one doesn't hurt. Especially with Swinney on board.

Engie went full retard again? Not surprising.

if youre going to rerank our 2013 class based on who isnt here and who hasnt contributed yet.....then you have to do the same for literally every other school.

OVERRATED MOST HAVENT CONTRIBUTED YET! -engie....speaking in regards to a class thats been on campus for literally one year this month. This could quite possibly be the dumbest thing engie has ever argued. Stupid even for him.

Considering that our record against OM is 5-2 over the past 7 years, I'd submit that we've been out recruiting them for about a decade. That is if you look at results and not Rivals.

Well considering we've split with lsu over the past 6 years, I'd submit we've been recruiting just as good as them over the past decade. That is if you look at the results and not rivals.

this logic is fun

You say this -- directly as you are pushing as hard as you can for Tim Washington and Tommy Champion? So you don't really want them -- you are just going after them huh? How do you explain Mark McLaurin? You didn't want him -- although even Yancy admits that you did.

Yes -- Jones was the #1 receiver on your board according to all of your writers early in the process when he was supposedly leaning Ole Miss. Then when it is found out that his coach is a former MSU player and he's an MSU lock -- you realize that it wasn't going to happen. That doesn't mean he wasn't a top priority. It just means that you weren't getting him.

Do I need to keep going? I can...

Where did I argue this? You fricktards are getting LSU-level stupid, which I expect from you actually.

Nice straw man tho...

yes. You need to rerank 100+ teams 2013 class so we can all see just how overrated our class was

Engie spinning and backing out of a statement again.

Also engie pulling the "straw man" card again. It seems as if you have about as good of a grasp on that term as the average clarion ledger commentor

OM 2-3 against LSU.
OM 30-33
LSU 53-13
Obviously the head-to-head is an outlier.

MSU 4-1 against OM.
MSU 36-28
OM 30-33
Here not so much.

Show me where I made this statement the first time? Oh -- that's right -- I didn't. Just Pank being a straw-man fricktard as usual, making it impossible to have a single normal discussion about anything.

And your comprehension is worse than most of them.

Lol oh nice.... look at you picking and choosing shite to fit your argument.

are we gonna do the same old song and dance? You know...the one where you post stupid shite...I call you on your bullshite...and then you try to squirm your way out of it?

Another "hurr durr engie regurgitates something already said to make himself look smarter" post by engie.

just keep baaaaaacking away from your bullshite. The good thing for you is that with every post in this thread, your bullshite gets buried and is less likely to be seen. I see what youre doing. Fairly clever

Waiting on you to show me where I said this...

I don't have time to be drawn into petty arguments with you today about things I never said nor implied.

When someone intimates that your 2013 class is the best class EVAR -- when they've been on class for one year and had 6 contributors thusfar -- and 20% of the class is already gone including some really high-end talent -- someone is going to point out that it's still too early to know exactly what that class was and it's too early to knight it as best of anything. Which is all I did.

Spin away -- I won't be here to read it.
