Trent will cause us fear in the same vein as Ray Drew.

Well put, definitely better than my example. I don't think it will be quite like Drew because according to AU people, he was a silent to Auburn (true or not there was a lot of Drew->AU talk). I just see Trent having darkhorses that pose serious threats and the lack of commitment causes UGA fans to really worry the longer it takes. Even if he has an announced date

A DT considering a 3-4 is a career death sentence.

I think these sites have a serious bias towards linemen. At this level is there a real difference between the 1st places DT and the 3rd places CB?

Also a #1 recruiting battle would be good.

LF was smart kept 2 big subriberships (new word?) involved.
This guy coudl keep Auburn and UGa going all year.

Declaring any kid a lock before his Senior year is a waste of time. Unless he is the son of the coach I wouldn't call any recruit a LOCK.

Auburn fans love to trash our defensive line. They refuse to admit that we got better after Garner left. I don't know why they can't bring themselves to accept this.

Yeah, no way Thompson might actually deserve to be #1, right?

Thompson is an absolute freak. Tolliver supposedly didn't hav ea great showing at something that are making others reconsider. If Tolliver shows out like LSU fans believe he should during camps he takes over #1

Yes because returning 2/3 DL as well as a 5* for the third means you shouldn't improve along the DL.

Also, pointing towards Ray Drew's stats, all 6 sacks came in only 4 games and his TFL in 5 games. That is the definition of inconsistent and not supporting your "Ray Drew had a great year" argument. He had a few good games.

Garner definitely stopped coaching at the peak of his game and got a little apathetic at the ending for UGA, but don't kid yourself into thinking he was not head and shoulders above what you replaced him with

So everyone who has a good year and is consistent should have 1 sack a game?

Horse shite, he'd been sleepwalking the previous 2-3 years. Chris Wilson was a step up from those years.

If beign consistent is having a sack or a TFL in more than one out of three FBS games, than yes.

I'm too lazy to look it up. Were they in 9 games total or do the five games overlap? And where are you getting 3 games?

Yeah, I'm not really sure I'm buying that. Garner was a decent coach but Wilson was an upgrade
