Have we ever signed the #1 overall recruit on any service? If not, looking forward to it.

Not since the modern services started (Rivals in 2001), but we've signed the top recruit before. Hines Ward was one

The Tigerette he had a big crush on should be graduating this semester. Supposedly he requested the same girl every time he visited Auburn. Can't be good for us

The fact he was on a visit to Auburn for the UGA@AU game last year and was openly cheering for UGA is probably even worse.

Should really tell everyone all they need to know, tbh.

3rd. UGA is so far in front though it is unlikely to matter where anyone else is. There is no such thing as a lock, but he is as close as it gets.

Plus it is south GA and Bobo is his recruiter. :TakenGoodLuck: to anyone else trying to get him.

Don't take too much comfort in this. R. Evans was cheering, crying and running like a mad man on the field when AU beat uat in the IB.

Trent is a huge UGA fan growing up, his family are all huge UGA fans, he's from pro-UGA country. Dawg

Fwiw, I think Toliver was ahead by 0.0001 before yesterday

This is going to change a lot, and not just between Thompson and Toliver

Think we can all agree Evans was a...special case, though.

Trent is a big impressionable teddy bear off the field. He likely will be a UGA commit as I have repeatedly said on this board and the AU Board. Don't kid yourself into thinking that Trent is not going to be a hard fought battle.

He is going to be like Rashaan Evans but actually will end up picking the favorite school. Everyone expects it, but something deep down is going to cause some fear for UGA till its official

Exactly. It was bound to change. Recruiting sites figure that committed recruits are bad for business. Being undecided counts for extra points.
