If we just talking DBs I would say Bacarri Rambo. UGA has 6 DBs in the league total off the top of my head.

You haven't been reading the TD then, have you? You guys are melting hard over the poor hire. If sidewalk fans know it was a poor hire, you can bet a top recruit would be aware....or he SHOULD be aware.

If I didn't know better, I would say LSU's defense should be approaching the level of it offense in 2-3 years, if it takes that long.

How may since 2011? 2011 was a long, long time ago in college terms. And the DC that developed them is gone. While Chavis was at LSU he was the greatest DC in the country according to you guys. As soon as he left for A&M you guys painted him as garbage. NOW you want to go back and say he the greatest again?

name the last cornerback to go to UGA that has a legit pro career right now. going to UGA would be a financial risk for his future.

Champ Bailey makes any LSU DB of all time look like a chump anyway.

The argument that schools are "DB U", "RB U", etc works when talking about a history of good position, but with regard to recruiting, acting like the school has something to do with it rather than the coaches is absurd. If your argument is that Les Miles did a majority of the development, then you may have a point, but defending the school as a DB U pipeline when the primary reason it produced such quality Dbs is gone is a stretch to say the least.

Still think Donte Jackson will be successful wherever he goes because he is that talented. LSU seems to be where he is leaning which is a bummer because we have a great defensive coaching staff and an obvious need (we started a preferred walk-on for God's sake).

Sad, our DC that coached LBs won't be developing our DBs anymore

The question was the last UGA DB who has a legit pro career right now. He has a "legit pro career" and is a starting DB in the league.

Regardless, history of the position at a school shouldn't be a factor since both school's coaches are still pretty new. Pruitt puts DB's in the league as well as anyone and that's all that should really matter.

Would it be a poor decision for Jackson to go to LSU? Absolutely not. LSU is a great school and is close to home. He's not a guy that would be buried in a depth chart at LSU and would probably have a great 3 year career. However, he would start from day 1 at UGA in some capacity, IMO.

Lol, this is crap. Boykin is barely in his rotation and you just named a guy who's career just died of old age (not that the saints didn't need him, lol). But seriously, this proves my point. GTFO.

Boykin had a bad season but there is potential for a rebound. He had 6 INT in 2013.

That's not true. He's the nickelback. The question wasn't asking for pro bowlers

I can't believe LSU fans are actually arguing against UGA's ability to put players in the NFL. Damn corndogs

Gimme a pro bowler then. The fact that you backed up Boykin instead of giving us a better name proves the point. I'm not arguing against UGA's ability to put players in the league, they're a powerhouse for that just like LSU. But LSU's ability to put DBs specifically in the league blows UGA out of the water.

Pruitt's had exactly one year with his guys at UGA, I won't be hesitant to admit we sucked with Willie Martinez and Grantham putting DB's in the league.

Because y'all have had more talented DBs. LSU hasn't figured out some magical formula for developing DBs. If Jackson's good enough, he's not going to miss out on the NFL because he went to UGA instead of LSU.

Ok. But all it takes is one guy to change the trend at UGA. DJax could be that guy if he wanted. I think he ends up at LSU. But he could come to UGA and be the trend setter. Just an observation.

Corey Raymond is our DB coach and recruits our DBs. Tre White and Jamal Adams will both be NFL starters one day, not to mention guys like Jalen Mills, Rashard Robinson, Jalen Collins, etc.

Also, we just improved our recruiting 100x over by adding Orgeron and Steele. That, plus having his two good friends in the class, makes me a bit more confident.
