2. Lsu doesn't beat down Ags in recruiting. Last I checked Ags were number two by a large margin. Lsu beats Ags down on the field where it matters PERIOD
you do realize this is the first time all decade we've been recruiting at LSUs level right? We are just starting to close the talent gap. So whatever, go nuts over these last two games, but we are quickly getting to a point where there is equal talent on both sides

Depending on when you lived in Dallas I believe it re OU. Dallas will always be a UT city to me though, seems like they've always been the predominant fanbase there with Houston being our city

We're getting some serious height for the future at WR between Dupre (6'3), Spears (6'3), Ferguson (6'5), Sullivan (6'6) and Anderson (6'4).

And to add to this Carlos Strickland (6'5, 2015 WR from TX) just named us his leader

Equal talent right? I assume you mean just recruiting wise and not how your coaches develop your players vs ours? We certainly have the better track record there.

Our coaches did pretty well turning some 3* recruits into stars if I do say so myself

So does LSU, at a higher rate.

Let me stop before I get accused of trolling

On one side of the ball, at least.

The biggest question marks going forward about the young Aggie defensive talent is:

1. Do you have a staff in place to make them not suck
2. Can they stay out of trouble? From what I see on 247, out of the 6 composite 4-star defensive recruits enrolled from the 2013 class, 2 have already been booted from the team

mark Snyder had a pretty good defense when it wasn't littered with freshman all over the two deep

Last 2 years havent been promising, and this season is shaping up to be just as bad - at least SEC offenses should take a step back across the board this season.

you mean in 2012 when we were top 25 in points allowed and top 25 in defensive efficiency?

You gave up 57 to Louisiana Tech? Yeah, that's not promising. Also got way worse last year, and once again, this year looking almost just as bad if not worse.

when we had multiple starters suspended and had to play kids who were playing this year. And even with that, we still had a top 25 defense

we are actually deeper along the defensive line which will keep us from being worse. We may not be a whole better, but I expect it to be better

LOUISIANA TECH, wow @ the excuses

Damontre Moore covered up a lot of the terribleness of that defense. A dominant front 7 player can do that. Something you didn't have last year and wont once again this year.

Losing 3 projected defensive front 7 starters in the offseason isn't the best way to get started.

Now you just need to work on getting a coach that can get you to the next level with all that talent

Geez he's going to be a beast. Too bad for him his supporting cast is terrible as a unit

I moved away from Dallas February of this year. Most of the OU fans I saw were sidewalk fans. The UT fans are a more pompous bunch, but there were equal amounts of UT and A&M stickers everywhere.

If I had my choice of players LSU missed out on last year MG would be #1.

Expecting a true freshman to be a dominant player on the defensive line is generally a bad idea.
