Kyler murray goes on his OV to a&m. Apparently it goes tremendously well an he is more than 100% solid and is actively recruiting kids to a&m. Three days later, his dad drives him and damarkus lodge to Texas. Rumors are swirling that he's going to flip because he's been guranteed the starter spot the moment he steps on campus. On top of that, Texas is going to make his dad a QB consultant. Then, daylon mack who publicly eliminated them 10 days ago, drops auburn and visits them. Then, the mods if our biggest recruiting sites get into a big twitter fight with one another over it all

Anyone know what his name was or whatever happened to him? Whoever did that to the kid was one sick bastard -- that was Carrie level evil HS prank. I hope he (the kid) landed somewhere.

He landed at a MAC school or some place like that.

Neither have I. And whatever Bobo did wrong seemed to work out well for us. Dude was a great player but a grade A POS.

Idk, I'm sort of curious how much trouble Reid could have gotten into in Athens. He was such a bad kid that he single-handedly made it so Lowndes kids weren't a lock to FSU

Regardless, that dude was a baller.

not exactly crazy, but:

in 2002 Nutt was recruiting DeAngelo Williams to Arkansas. On signing day, instead of just signing with his school of choice (Memphis, of all places), he faxed Arkansas his LOI with a huge 'NO' written across it.

Supposedly, Bobo replied to the kid by accident saying the was a tPOS or something. He thought he was replying to another coach. Or maybe it was a group message.

But it worked out in our favor for sure.

He probably would have inspired Michael Adams to give his own school the death penalty.

And you know that fricker would have done it just to say he did it, too.

Sounds like Bobo was a solid judge of character

I bet Bobo did that on purpose and just said it was an accident to cover his arse

Good to hear that. I hope he absolutely balls out and makes it to the pros. After that kind of humiliation, he deserves to have some laurels and good luck sent his way.

I remember reading about a kid who lied about being recruited, then held an announcement day at his high school and "committed" to the school (though there was no offer). Long story short, he was called out by the coach (I think it was Cal), and all hell broke loose.

Yep, here is the article: LINK

His name is Kevin Hart.
