I don't know if he is a thug or a great person like Ole Miss fans claim. But I do know that being a 22 year old and caught with a small amount of weed while living in Oregon shouldn't have anything to do with it. He's probably a piece of shite though now that I think about it.

I don't recall him having many other options besides LA Tech.

I wouldn't say he knowing walked into a dumpster fire either, we had just come off consecutive 9 win seasons and our defense was supposed to still be good, I even remember reading practice reports about how our D was dominating in practice and how masoli was impressed with the SEC level D line. Idk what the frick happened to us.

You know that south park episode where they see the new Indiana jones and he has a dream that George Lucas and Steven Spielberg are raping Indiana on the pinball machine? Well replace those characters with Ole Miss and Houston Nutt and you have a decent metaphor. I might even get someone to fark a gif of this very thing if someone if up to the challenge.

The point was that he's only exclusive to OM @ 24 hours...so the best bet is to push him to get back in at Christmas. If he stays JUCO for 36 hours, he'll be a free agent to sign wherever he pleases. Not saying that he ends up anywhere else, just that I've seen no reason to believe he should be considered a lock back to OM at that point..

Tyrone Nix is a fatter, blacker George Lucas

Seriously though his defensive schemes were abysmally simple. We had ZERO discipline in all areas. Peria Jerry and pure talent were the only reason he looked any good in 08 and 09.

So the gif should be Tyrone nix and Houston Nutt doing the raping. Who would play the Ole Miss character?

Looks like a pretty decent list. Most the sites would agree with you but I have thought that Buchannon sucked from the get go. I guess he's got upside, but if you went to a Prep game and left saying, "Man that qb was great, legit SEC qb" You are lying to you damn self. 1500yds with 16td and 11 ints against absolutely horrible competition, plus his team is better than every other team except maybe the 1 public school team they play

I don't see how that's so hard to comprehend, or how it will be hard for him to do.

My post was based on an earlier poster saying he had to have the 24 by December (end of fall semester).

So the question of whether it's going to be difficult really depends on when he really has to have them done. When is it?

Don't know why I'm even asking, I don't really have a dog in fight to begin with. I was just noting that it would be tough to get 24 by December unless he got all he could this summer.

Carry on.

Buchanon didn't get evaluated from his stats. He was evaluated based on his mechanics.....which are pretty damned good.

Oh I agree. OM is just the easiest route back to the SEC. My optimism for Snoop being a rebel again went from. 0% to 20% so I'm not saying its a lock by any means. My whole argument was that there isn't some sort of problem between OM and USP because of Brassell

I bet you he throws 12 touchdown passes for KA in the charity bowl alone.

And I'm betting Alabama, Florida's, Auburn's and OSU's staff knows more than you do about QB prospects

Brassell will come back to Ole Miss, be a beast, leave early for the NFL then Coonass will come on here and say "told you Bears Brassell wasn't gonna be back at TSUN"

then we'll say "But he did come back, played for us for several years and was so good he actually left early for the NFL"

then Coonass will say "Yea but his eligibility hasn't run out and he's not at TSUN anymore. I'm right again, you Black Bears never learn"

I love offer sheet smack. Have you seen him play? B/c a bunch of staffs are wrong about a ton of prospects every year. He absolutely has the tools but he isnt impressive in high school. Not a big deal
