Just because it's an escalade doesn't mean you have to be a racist about it.

I have a chop shop called the Black Market.

I would say it's a down year based solely on the fact that only 5 of those guys have offers from OOS BCS schools.
OOS BCS schools don't waste their time or schollies on MS players anymore. Before Merlins took the reins, OOS schools could come steal every MS 4* and 5* guy. Merlins doesn't allow that shite to happen anymore.

Overall, how does the talent look in Mississippi this year?

Seriously though, Thomas has a lot of work to do if he is gonna play in the SEC.
Is anyone else not impressed with his video?

Kid is 6'6" 300 and moves good. He plays 6A ball and has held his own against some of the best in the state.

How so? Last year Liggins was the only highly rated guy to sign out of State, and he still hasnt qualified.
Guess you could argue where 'highly rated' status stops, but Arkansas did get the #8 or #9 player (depending on whose list you look at) out of Mississippi last year, D'Arthur Cowan from Olive Branch. We are expecting good things out of him.

I would say D'Arthur Cowan falls under the "highly rated" status for sure. He just never really received much hype in the state because he committed to ya'll so early (If I'm not mistaken, but he is going to be a good player.

You do realize that the #11 he's dominating for the first 2 minutes of this video is Channing Ward right?
Posted on 6/26/12 at 2:15 pm to engie
No I didn't and that makes it about 10 times better because Ward was unbelievable last year. I'm not saying he's not good. I'm just saying that by glancing at the video, he doesn't seem to have much tenacity. Some of those highlights are missed blocks. Videos are very deceiving and it's hard to tell by just watching a highlight video.
