Emmons coach came out and said he had a slim chance of qualifying a few months ago but he would have to take extra classes and pass everything. Basically, it is believed that he would have to be perfect in order to qualify and Georgia couldn't take that chance. If he qualifies, thats a hell of a get by Bama because he is really good.

Now you're sounding just like LSU fans. "We passed on a guy due to grade concerns, so if he gets in the only possible explanation is cheating."

All this said with no one actually seeing his transcript or knowing any details about his academic situation.

Ive been out of high school for a couple years now but I don't know how you even pass to the next grade if his GPA and grades are as bad as you guys make it seem. How is he even allowed to play football?

Is he that dumb? Oh, I guess he is, forgot about the grades.

What class you have for calling a teenager a name. At least most UGA fans are civil so I will not hold you as a representation of their fans.

I never said bama was cheating or did I say I knew anything about bama cheating. You seem to know way more than me on bama cheating the way you're defending it.

OMG...I made a sarcastic comment on an anonymous recruiting board. Nooooooooo. Not that.

Back to topic. Good luck with the kid. Hopefully he does qualify if he has the grades. If not, I hope he goes to JC and gets it turned around so he has that education in case he doesn't make it in FB.

What time line was wrong. He got arrested in October and it was cleared up in late November. According to every site including 247 on his timeline he committed to UGA on Dec 1. And yes it you look at his timeline right now on 247 it states he committed to UGA Decemmber 1 not February.

Commit B.J. Emmons commits to Georgia Bulldogs

Bobo leaves in late December and new RB coach hired in February. Then UGA RB coach reached out to Emmons and his HS coach. He was still committed then. Saban reached out an offfered him in May and he decommitted from UGA in June. In July commits to UA. Please tell me where my timeline is off and you have very little credibility if you are using AJC for your source. I do not support or read AJC.

In regards to the recruit in the fall he had some off the field issues and there was some concern about his decisions in the classroom, but not what some on here have been making it out to be.

But please share with me where I am wrong and again I am no insider by any means but just happen to have a little more insight here then the so called insiders.

Hooray for another Top 10 class that addresses all of our needs, including RB by way of Elijah Holyfield?

Why was their no k of meeting new coaches, yet the kid stayed committed for over 5 months? Seems extremely weird that a kid would be mad about Bobo leaving, not willing to talk with the new coaches and stays committed for so long? What does your insider say about that? Our insiders say we stopped communicating with him and he kinda strung along. Just curious. Especially with Tennessee breathing down his neck.

For the last time let me correct you

LINK

As of Feb5 of this year he was still not listed as a commit even though he commited. Georgia would not accept his commitment at that time. This was an update from our Mod on February 5th when directly asked was Emmons commited or not. HE WAS NOT COMMITED or listed as a commit by our team because he had work to do according to the staff before we could accept his commitment.

To paraphrase a lot of different articles and mods posts from 247, Emmons never spoke to Richt about committing. Pretty sure 247 had him listed as a soft commit throughout the entire attempted commitment. Even when Bobo was still around we hadn't talked to him for weeks at a time after his attempted commit. Numerous times from December to currently the mods have indicated that they were not sure if they considered him a commitment and did not think UGA did due to his grade issues. It had very little to do with Bobo leaving.
