Ours technically had nearly 1200 yards and the other over 1100 yards if you want to get real here.
That's still not as much as Evans... and Speedy isn't two people.
quote:
A&M's #2 had just 700 yards. Mike Evans sucked up most of the catches/yards being a big bodied safety outlet. Who's to say Nacho doesn't put Speedy on the backburner like Evans has done to the rest of your WR corp the last 2 seasons? Evans even cut off 300 yards from Swope's Junior to senior season.
First mildly intelligent point made by an LSU fan here, and I was waiting for someone to make it. Te only issue I have with that, is that Swope was taken out twice early in games because of concussions. Swope actually averaged more yards in conference play and had more 100 yard games on the season.

And Landry and Beckham were second fiddle to no one. You're making an asinine remark over and over with no proof.
When you run the ball 61% of the time, your passing game is secondary to your running game... how is that no proof? 75 receptions and 57 receptions for LSU's top two leading receivers... 175 rushes and 79 rushes(not including another 18 and 6 receptions a peice) for the top two rushers. Your remark is asinine, not mine.

So really, LSU is more WR friendly, if you're good enough to be a top 2 WR
That doesn't make sense. Our leading receiver put up better number than your leading receiver. So Miles is selling Speedy on being a better number 2 receiver? You can't think Speedy is that stupid.

But none of this really matters though. He isn't going to A&M.
Most likely.

Lol. Texas A&M's offense is more receiver friendly than LSU's. That's a generality, for sure, but it is incredibly accurate.

Other than the number one QB recruit in the nation, Kyle Allen, and possibly Kyler Murray behind him?
#1 QB's are not as valuable as players who have played and had college experience - or would you take Jeff Driskel over Johnny Manziel, a #1 qb over a guy who has a fairly decent track record? What about Blake Bell or Phillip Sims?
Obviously Jennings hasn't had a lot of college experience, but he looked good engineering a 99-yard game-winning scoring drive against an SEC team. That's a lot more than Kyle Allen has done.

Because there were rumors floating about...
And I asked this question before the 247 aTm guy changed his pick...

And what part of that would make Speedy, or any rational person, think he would get more yards in LSU's system, as our leading receiver was more than either of your top 2 receivers?
It sounds like they are just trying to say that you claim to play in such a wide receiver friendly offense, but the majority of the yards were allocated to one receiver. You signed what, like 9 highly touted receivers last season? Our depth chart is pretty bare next season, and we've proven that despite running the ball-gasp-61% of the time, we pass more than enough to catch the attention of NFL scouts, and our record for putting receivers in the pros is much better.
We also don't have a coach that left his former school a total shite show and lost every tossup game on his schedule this season. If Speedy really believes he will play 4 different positions on offense throughout the season and some defense for A&M, then so be it. That sounds 1000x worse than Les telling Shep he's our next starting QB.

We will have better QB talent than LSU the next 3-4 years. I don't see how you can really dispute that either.
You got the powerball numbers too?
Nobody knows who will have better QBs at this point.

I thought A&M was at or over the 32 WR limit?

Most Ags I know would be mildly surprised if we land Speedy.
We've had the top offense in the SEC 100% of the years in which we've been part of the SEC. Defense was the issue. On that note, 5 star DL Myles Garrett was named the top Sunday performer at the UA practice.

Just a great stat. If its all about being the #1 offense and yards then why doesn't he just go to Baylor? Seems like that would give him all the stats he needs. Seems to be what A&M is great at. I'm not so sure about the W-L column stat, but the yards will surely be there. Also, Im not sure the NFL WR stat is there either, but yeah, the yards will surely SURELY be there.
Oh yeah, Baylor also has more NFL WR's Kendall Wright & Terrence Williams, and they also just won their conference.
