A&M has the best offense and QBs in the country guys

Maybe ever

I mean I'm not sure why Speedy would want to come play for LSU and it's program that just had two 1,000 yard WRs when it can play for A&M and it's stable of legendary unparalleled QB talent and greatest offensive system devised by man

Maybe he wants to play for an offensive coordinator that doesn't run the ball 61% of the time and can actually get his playmaking receiver a decent yardage total?

and literally avoided addressing any of the OTHER points I made(ie running it 61% of the time) that's fine

we ran 61% of the time and still produced 2 1000 WRs. I think speedy can put up #s and develop in our offense. NFL scouts have taken LSU WRs ahead of other guys with better stats on plenty of occasisions and we've proved we will feed our WRs if they have the talent.

to say a WR will be second fiddle to a RB is just retarded. Landry and Beckham were in no way second fiddle to Jeremy Hill this year.

Maybe winning is a big thing to him too. He comes from a very successful program in NOLA.

We had a 1300 yard receiver. 1300 is more than 1000, and Speedy isn't two people. Our offense is more receiver friendly.

I do too, but due to the nature of our offense, Speedy would put up bigger numbers in our offense.

You ran the ball 61% of the time.

Could be. He could look at A&M and LSU's win total over the last two years and realize they are the exact same, and think that he has the exact same ability to win under Sumlin that he does under Miles, but being a bigger part of the offense in the process...

Cam Cameron ran the ball 61% of the time and Mike Evans had over 1300 yards...

LSUs top 2 WRs totaled more yards than yalls top 2.

Obviously LSU is better for WRs unless some WR plans on being some garbage #3 WR. In that case, he should go to aTm and put up 200 yard games vs rice et al

nice theory but I disagree. Also speedy isn't 6'5 and wont have the best playmake in SEC history throwing to him.

and our top 2 WRS still had more yards than your top 2.

or he could strive for better than 3rd/4th in the West every year.

And they both had over 1000 yards receiving. Speedy cant be super productive here based on that?

Ok, and then if you drop to two WRs instead of one, LSU had more yards

So really, LSU is more WR friendly, if you're good enough to be a top 2 WR

So really A&M concentrates the bulk of its yardage to just one person. Doesn't sound too WR friendly to me.

But none of this really matters though. He isn't going to A&M.

I hear Speedy Noil will decline the NFL draft money and enter the CFL because they throw it more than 39% of the time

It also doesn't help that your program is a flash in the pan, while LSU is actually a legitimate program

Even with the greatest offensive scheme and QB depth in the history of the sport

Not every #1 QB recruit turns out great.

Remember Garrett Gilbert?

It's true

The NFL couldn't get the playmaking receivers a decent yardage total

Ours technically had nearly 1200 yards and the other over 1100 yards if you want to get real here.

A&M's #2 had just 700 yards. Mike Evans sucked up most of the catches/yards being a big bodied safety outlet. Who's to say Nacho doesn't put Speedy on the backburner like Evans has done to the rest of your WR corp the last 2 seasons? Evans even cut off 300 yards from Swope's Junior to senior season.

And Landry and Beckham were second fiddle to no one. You're making an asinine remark over and over with no proof.

So LSU is better because they can't get a receiver more yards than A&M? What part of that makes sense? And Evans had over 250 yards against Alabama...

quote:

nice theory but I disagree. Also speedy isn't 6'5 and wont have the best playmake in SEC history throwing to him.

And he wouldn't magically be 6' 5" if he went to LSU. Nothing about A&M's system prevents Speedy from getting the ball.

quote:

and our top 2 WRS still had more yards than your top 2.

And what part of that would make Speedy, or any rational person, think he would get more yards in LSU's system, as our leading receiver was more than either of your top 2 receivers?

Nice, he also go shut down by LSUs true freshman RR21. Did Evans get the vicotry vs bama?
