What does that have to do with any of this?

Why would Florida's staff feel that way? Nuss recruited him for more than a year at Alabama. And he stayed committed to Alabama until he left for Michigan.

Just between you and me, I've heard that highly rated 4 star LSU commit Feliepe Franks is strongly considering a flip to UF and the staff is putting all of their "eggs" into the basket that Franks flips to Florida. If I had to choose, I think Town is a better fit for the offense but In Mac We Trust I suppose.

He could be the kind of player that takes Arkansas to the next level. Good pick up if y'all take him. I honestly wish Florida's staff would have

Takes Arkansas to what level?

QB recruiting is not an issue for Arkansas. We've recruited some of the best out there the last couple of years.

If anything, the addition of Town is puzzling. If he walks on, it's not puzzling.

Sorry, I wasn't very familiar with Arkansas's recruiting (other than y'all stealing Jalen Merrick from us )

But I meant to the level of consistently contending for the West. Bret has improved every year since he's been there and a couple of players like Town would help keep Arkansas at the top for the years to come. No offense intended

Its normal around here for other fans to assume arkansas cant recruit. The fact of the matter is Arkansas has no problem recruiting elite athletes. The SEC is a guantlett that we are proud to be in, and the truth of the matter is we all recruit elite athletes. Arkansas isnt iowa st or indiana

Merrick's gonna be a good one, too. Our coaches are saying he'll play this year, which slightly surprises me.

You're not the only one to be skeptical of our QB's and for good reason. But we do have 5 QB's that were rated a 4* by one service or another, so it's not that we don't have star power at the position; at least according to the services. If we get Town, he'll be the 6th. We just need an OC who can utilize them and hopefully that will be Enos.

Why do people call him a 5* though?

I checked 247, ESPN, Scout, Rivals, and he was a 4* on all of them.

He was a 5* for a long time during his recruiting cycle, before getting dropped down, so that has stuck in some peoples minds.

He was a five star for most all of his cycle. He wasn't down graded until, I believe, the last ratings update before NSD.
