Yes, OM has beaten us 3/4 years, which sucks. Though in the process, you've only finished ahead of State once in six years, aka... 1/6. I and the majority of normal State fans care more about overall season's, than just beating OM. It's hard to get up as much as your opponent, when it's their Super Bowl. We were the same way a few years back, after we got beat down 45-0 in Sly's final season.

You have got to be joking. Mullen has flat out said the Egg Bowl is the most important game of the year. It's not even close between Ole Miss fans and State fans who care about that game more. If an Ole Miss fan had decide whether or not to beat LSU or State, it's probably 60/40 in favor of beating LSU. State fans/players would pick beat Ole Miss 100% of the time over any other opponent. I just don't know how that can even be argued. If we can continue to recruit well and be competitive, the rivalry with LSU will go back to being much bigger than any with Miss State.

Personally I would say Bama. If we beat Bama and lost to LSU and State we would be much happier then any other situations.
