I'm not so sure, I mean these are college coaches and their job is to win college games, not make NFL pro-bowlers.

I've long said that Richt is unparalleled in college as a QB coach:

Charlie Ward- Heisman winner
Chris Weinke- Heisman winner
David Greene- set all time record for NCAA victories
DJ Shockley- SEC POY and champion in only year starting
Matt Stafford- #1 overall NFL draft pick
Aaron Murray- broke many SEC all-time passing records

Yet...only 1 of those guys ever did anything remotely successful in the NFL. It still doesn't tarnish his abilities as a college QB coach though.

I went on Fields' Twitter account and saw that the only things he tweeted out since Corral committed were Caleb Tanner commitment(UGA), Sheffield JR commitment(FSU), UGA football tweet (below), and Telly Plummer commitment (UL).
This is what got me a little excited:

Fields hasn't been on social media much but he's tweeting out UGA stuff more than FSU stuff, hope that means something.

Obviously Auburn would be best case for Florida but I'd rather him at UGA than at FSU.

We know what Jimbo can do with a quarterback like this.

We don't yet know what Kirby can do with him. And he didn't necessarily strike fear in anybody's heart in his first 7-5 season with a freshman 5 star, top 5 overall player at quarterback.

But hell, maybe he'll get drafted in the 3rd round of the MLB Draft and you'll all be fricked.

It would suck but we wouldn't be screwed, we have another 5* behind Eason that has shown he will be good.

You want zero chance to win the SEC the next 2-3 years?

Oh no, we'll just have to settle with our other 5 star quarterback that we pulled in, who doesn't want to tug your chain.

If he's this pumped about Georgia, why doesn't he commit? He's playing his cards, and trying to secure more promises from other schools. Remember when he was all Florida, but then suddenly took a change?

I'm super happy to have a 5 star QB in our class who isn't grandstanding, running the recruiting circuit and obviously playing games.

Doesn't matter if he goes to Georgia, we crushed your last 5* with what was essentially a walk-on quarterback, and the year before with a slot receiver playing quarterback. Georgia doesn't make me salty at all because we own you guys.

We'll pay him if we have to.

I don't think that was ever actually the case.

Your 5 star QB isn't going to be a 5 star much longer, fwiw.
