No just correcting a little misconception with some facts.

fact is that Texas will not be down forever and A&Ms window for actually winning is closing with each season

I'd be pretty worried if I was A&M

Yep

They were gift wrapped the state and control of the state for years to come by Mack Brown and Sumlin couldn't finish better than 4th in his own division in the 3 years that Texas was down.

Window is closed shut and Mack decommitting will nail the window down when he's on his way out.

Congrats to Malik on choosing the premier university in the state of Texas.

Starting to wonder who is truly the team in decline now.

Again… decline can't apply to a mediocre program that has never achieved consistent success for a significant period of time. Even Kansas had a decent double digit win season not that long ago…. So no Ole Miss nor Texas A&M, perennial mediocre programs, can't be “in decline”. More like staus quo… irrelevant.

Its not just Texas that might be a problem for the Aggies.

TCU and Baylor are recruiting well already in 2016.

Thank you for this. I was melting pretty hard until you reminded me how irrelevant the Big 12 is on the recruiting trail outside of Texas.

Thats the great thing about TEXAS. They can sustain 4 programs pretty well with the amount of talent available. Obviously, you don't want to be on the bottom of the pile. A&M being in the SEC helps them in alot of ways but if they don't start captatilizing on the recruiting sucess they could end up in a power struggle that UT will inevitably win.

I came for the A&M melt, will not leave disappointed. Fanbase was very confident in picking up this commitment so the tears are hilarious.
