No shite

LSU ran a pro style offense and he expects it to be top tier in terms of yards and points scored

LSU was very efficient..amazing 3rd down conversion rate and RedZone efficiency was off the charts

LSUs offense was better than A&Ms last year

Getting Kirk almost guaranteed Merritt to Oregon.

Absolutely. As a pro style offense, we scored under 34 points 3 times last year. Once was without our starting QB. I would love to see a points per posession chart or something.

How about points per play.
A&M - .576
LSU - .514

Still love it?

Let's all stop and laugh at every Aggy in here that eBlew the kid daily for the last two years just to see him end up going to the flagship University in Texas.

As an LSU fan I can give you a few pointers on this. Its difficult to go from "that dude is incredible" to "that dude is horrendous, thank God we dodged that bullet", but it can be done. For starters you hope he has off the feild issues (see Gerald Willis). Secondly, you can beat his team and shut him down (See Speedy Noild). If all else fails, you can say he is overrated and that he's not as good of a NFL prospect as everyone thinks. This may even mean saying your player is better (See Landon Collins vs Jamal Adams).

Terrible metric. Passing attacks score in a lot fewer plays than run-first offenses.

We could have the same number of plays, except you have 3-4 more posessions.

From Hamm -

Jefferson's dad pulled me aside before I left and said A&M was leading the whole way. Apparently the convo with Sumlin on Wednesday night did not go well at all. Malik didn't even talk with Sumlin last night. He said he didn't want to because he knew he wouldn't get the answers he wanted
Looks like DA COBRA wasn't being straight with Malik.

Sounds he was being straight by not lying to him about a DC.

Swagcopter down!

COBRA needs to reevaluate things and go back to CUSA where he still couldn't win anything important

Texas A&M will always be average or below average with a terrible defense.

Thanks, it was a hard fought battle but I'm glad we got it done. I'd like to thank Gawd, my momma, Jesus, Yeesus, and Mark Snyder. Though a win feels good, we can't get complacent until Mack runs a butter knife diagonally through this warm gooey melt.

Always no matter who we hire or who we recruit. Never going to happen.
