Didn’t recruit either personally to the extent he has with KJ. Downs’s dad ran that recruitment and he hates Kirby. Missing on Haynes stung, no doubt about that.

Dolla to a dime it's either Florida State or Auburn with KJ unless someone ponies up $$$$ at the last minute like what happened in Phenix City a few weeks ago. Nothing amazes me anymore in this business.
This is not throwing shade.....The dawg has had it easy recruiting the past few years. It's not the same now.

I’ll believe it when I see it.

I do think he initially lands at Aubs. Kid is clearly shopping for the highest bidder and Auburn’s stepping up the plate so Freeze can nab an early recruiting win over Bama/UGA.

UGA is struggling with recruiting in 2024 and 2025 is not starting out promising at all.

AU & their NIL knows they have to pour the big $$ on your main rivals important 5*'s getting the "flip" will make headlines, encourage the fan base and build momentum.

It's possible AU pulls Riddick/Thompson/Bolden and that would be a huge coup on their part.

Seems like rational thought. Market value would be higher in Auburn’s current position.

Uh...we now have the #1 QB, CB, LB, P and are crystal ball picked to get the #1 Safety. We have 6 other players that are in the top 10 at their position. We have six OLinemen committed, all but one is a 4-star player with an average weight of 345 lbs....SIX!

You surely are not trying to say that UGA's recruiting is...falling off, are you?

Smart play. Riddick would’ve been a no-brainer to Bama or UGA given their track records of developing LB’s. Throwing the bank at him means, worst case, your rivals spend more. And, best case, you “beat” them for a 5*.

No, he wasn’t saying that. He is just saying Freeze is a tireless recruiter as well and with NIL to battle more better is all. Let’s see how he does year after year. I didn’t see one thing in his post that claims Uga is struggling. You may be too sensitive to post here.

It didn't bother me what he said, and I certainly did not take it that he was trolling. (I just think he was giving an honest opinion) However, this kind of does indicate that he thinks Georgia's recruiting is struggling.

Its not that UGA is recruiting poorly, this same thing happened to Bama. We were nigh unbeatable for a couple years there, but then you get LSU, Clemson, UGA, Ohio St, etc not even taking all the guys you want, but maybe some combination of those teams take 3-5 guys per year you would typically get. Then you're just a little more beatable than you used to be. Then just a little more. Also maybe the new car shine just wears off a bit. Maybe you miss on some QBs. Maybe your division gets a little tougher.

Auburn is going to recruit well under Freeze. Florida looks like they are going to recruit pretty well. Florida State and Clemson have been recruiting better lately, OU and Texas can sell playing in the SEC now, USC is going to be extremely appealing to any good QB.

Spot on my man!
Gus, Harsin.... Kirby had it easy recruiting against Auburn. He does not have that now with Freeze.
Throw in South Carolina, Tennessee, Florida recruiting. Kirby has to work harder than he has.
Simple accurate statement!

Take a look at Hugh’s 2013 class at Ole Miss. That was his first full cycle recruiting class and he pulled in 5 five stars.

And they went straight on probation for it along with him being fired...
