He's coming this weekend. Not sure where he got that he was coming to T-town this past weekend. I've seen that posted nowhere else. Think he was always going to visit Starkville.

Actually visited both Bama and MSU last weekend according to his interview with BOl. Taking his official to Oregon this Saturday.

The elite cornerback took an unofficial visit to Alabama on Saturday for the Tide’s game against Middle Tennessee State, before making the short drive over to Starkville for the Bulldogs bout with LSU. Knott spoke with BamaOnline about the visit and his upcoming decision.

“Saturday went good,” Knott said. “We were just chilling. We drove up and met with all the coaches. We walked around the quad and then headed into the game. We got to go on the field during pre-game and watched the DBs warm up."

“There’s more hype in bigger games, but it was still fun. I got to hang out with Raekwon Davis.”

No he's not. He's going to Oregon for an OV.

Yeah, I got him mixed up with Warrior in my memory.

Like I said about the Cooper/All-Star game thing, my memory is apparently becoming awful now. Even short term. (G)

I am surprised he is actually attending. Hopefully we can land him because we lost Warner and most think Mayden won't make it through the cycle.

With our two deep at corner having 3 sophmores and a frosh, it's not been a good cycle recruiting corners.

I'd rather him not trip. Our OVs are limited.

We'd rather him not trip there, too! Let's make it unanimous.

Well he's not about to CB him to State, and he knows Knott's not going to Ole Miss.

If this kid, or any other kid goes out of State, I say good riddance. Ole Miss & State can find others who want to come & build something.

But I'm sure you have no issue with kids leaving other states to come to Ole Miss.

With sanctions we are limited on OV to bring in someone that is a long shot. No one is confident that Knott ends up at Oregon. We hardly bring in top 100 recruits because they usually like to put us in the top 3 but end up staying home. The next two weeks we have Knott, Divinity and Rahshaun Smith from the IMG academy. We never could get these kids on campus but not sure if getting them here won't end up with a different result and now we're down an OV.

ETA: is he an academic concern as well?

You say some incredibly ridiculous things sometimes. You legitimately sound like a ED poster right now.

Alonzo Lawrence 2.0? In all seriousness, I really hope we can convince the kid to sign with us in February, but Saban is a genius with defensive backs and Knott has all the tools to work with so I can't blame him if he chooses and sticks with bama.
