Looking at the SC Composite State rankings, SC has only 3 4* football recruits. I follow SC and Georgia football and find it dam near impossible that there are only 3 players in the entire state worthy of a 4* ranking

The state of SC has been down a little with the HS football talent these past few years. It's starting to pick-up a little beginning with this next class and then in 2018 the state is loaded with major talent ... getting back to a little more normal.

As this state's population grows, so does our quality quantity of D1 football prospects. We do very well with basketball and baseball prospects ... if we could only keep all the basketball talent home. Keep the top football players at SC and not have to share them with Clemson ... but we'll be recruiting Georgia and NC hard with Muschamp and staff.

You know everyone keeps saying that. I'm saying this. If it's soooo easy to win there why we're all there titles won within the last 30yrs by TWO COACHES? Shouldn't there trophy case be over flowing with NATTYS. Like Bama

Doesn't matter what happened in the past 30 years. But these are more recent facts:
1. Florida leads the SEC in SEC Championship appearances with 11.
2. Urban won the natty twice while there, 2006 and 2008.
3. He won the SEC Championship twice.
4. He was named the national coach of the decade.
5. Between 2005 and 2009, here is how Florida finished in the rankings: 2005: 12. 2006: 1. 2007: 13. 2008: 1. 2009: 3.
6. Urban's record was 65-15 with a winning percentage of .813.
7. Georgia only beat Florida ONCE during Urban's tenure.
8. Florida State only beat Florida ONCE during Urban's tenure.

Then comes Champ. Here are the facts.
1. Champ never took the team to the SEC championship game.
2. Champ never took the tea to the national championship.
3. Between 2011 and 2014, here is how Florida finished in the rankings: 2011: Not ranked. 2012: 9. 2013: Not ranked. 2014: Not ranked.
4. Champ's record was 28-21 for a winning percentage of .571. Ron Zook had a better winning percentage!
5. Georgia was 3-1 against Florida during Champ's tenure (and was favored to win the won they lost). GEORGIA HAD ONLY WON 3 SINCE 1990 BEFORE CHAMP CAME ALONG!
6. Florida State was 3-1 against Florida.

So you can't argue with the facts. Florida was doing quite well with Urban, then Champ comes along and messes everything up. So, I'll say again IF CHAMP COULD'NT GET IT DONE AT GAINSVILLE WITH ALL THAT TALENT, HOW IS HE SUPPOSED TO GET IT DONE AT THAT DUMP OF A CITY CALLED COLUMBIA?
Royalair, how's that for a fresh take? CNB? How's that for no longer having an argument?
Crawl back into your cave, cock-lovers.

I was simply showing you how poorly Georgia did agaisnt Florida...until Muschamp came along, of course.

But I see you have no argument against the facts. So.....

Do you remember how this started? You questioned Muschamp's recruiting ability.

We're talking about recruiting here. Keep up.

If you wanna troll South Carolina, do so on the SEC Rant. Everything you're saying about Muschamp's coaching is brand new, never-before-heard stuff.

Hey your the one who said it didn't matter what happened in the last thirty years then brought up 1990 lmao and started listing all of Floridas accomplishments. Btw I know why you don't want to talk about the last thirty years. I wouldn't want to talk about it either if one coached owned my arse that bad

The 2018 class includes 5 4* and 1 5*, with the 5* being an early front-runner for the overall #1 prospect. USC is in the hunt for all but one of them, although it is still early yet....

Ok, I'll give you that. Champ is a heck of a recruiter. But what does he do with it. He's as bad as Richt when it comes to that

If you'll notice, all the facts I gave, other than Georgia's record, was from 2006 on. I was simply illustrating that Georgia sucked against Florida, and I'll admit it. Urban had our number. He whipped UGA's arse like we were his middle child. But what happened when Champ came along? Funny how you won't acknowledge our record against him.

Funny how you're defending Florida tooth and nail right now. Both here, and on the Rant.

2018's SC HS class is about as deep or deeper than '09's. There are about 4-5 'play for anybody's' in the state.

If/when Muschamp fails in Columbia, then I suppose you can celebrate your incredibly insightful prognostications.

In the interim, this is a recruiting thread. The shitposting is largely relegated to the Rant proper.
