It looks like he committed a year before so maybe he would have gotten some better offers but that's crazy that a player ranked that high in a talent rich state wouldn't have more offers at that point.

Definitely was not the case. I remember it well. He had to earn his offers through camps.
Iirc he crushed a Bama camp too and didn't get an offer and was pretty pissed about it

Who? I am genuinely curious since you are confident that your LB haul will match ours. Currently we have three 4 stars and Monty Rice, and are likely landing another 4 star (Leonard Warner).

Correct, and that's what the recruits are all being sold on right now and you'll probably see a slew of visits happen in the coming weeks.

Agree 100%, added him to the list, even though not really an ILB. We could definitely add him but it seems like he's Texas' to lose.
Also just saw Ignont set his OV to us, added him as well.

Taylor seems to be a bit on the backburner for us right now, but we recently re-opened line of communication with him to a new higher level. Phillips is the guy they really want for ILB, and supposedly OU thinks if he does flip Taylor will commit to them. The staff is pushing all those guys I listed pretty hard right now, trying to get them all in for visits.
Ignont, Gay and Brooks are all coming in for visits. Allen probably will unless Saban gets to him an squashes it (he's working hard telling him to not visit).

Patrick Queen (commit) and Willie Gay are confirmed for the 20th
Will Ignont and K'lavon Chaisson confirmed for the 13th
Ellis Brooks coming in 2 weeks I believe on a mid week official visit
Would not surprise me if they push hard for Phillips to also visit on the 20th, but I think he has to on his own dime. They are trying to get Allen in whenever he can.
